Kaine asks Senate to confirm military promotions. Tuberville objects.

On November 9, in recognition of Military Day in Alabama, the Marine Corps' birthday, and Veterans Day, U.S. Senator Tim Kaine (D-VA) went to the Senate floor for over an hour in an effort to end Senator Tommy Tuberville's (R-AL) blockade of military promotions. Kaine called up all 364 promotions, and Tuberville objected to each one, denying the servicemembers of the promotions they've earned.
