@@obnobn2345 the point is that the victim of a prank should also enjoy it, which means they aren't really a victim in the same way as this poisoning "prank" would make victims. I hope Walmart sues him as well. Not only for all the destroyed food but repairing the stands that absorbed the poison. And if possible any lost revenue noticed from consumers who fearing a copycat chose not to buy produce from Walmart.
The funny aspect is that they can now seize his monetary assets because they were obtained as a direct result of committing crimes. So your desire of posting bail may not be as realistic.
Along those lines: Why is there no added sentencing guidelines pertaining to crimes done for social media clicks? We have that criteria in other crimes, time to start making the public safe against this social media virus.
It doesn't, when in court, the judge should tell them (him and his attorney) if they use the word "prank" when talking about his CRIME, he would hold them in contempt for lying in court. no different than if he ax murdered his family, and said, "it was a prank tho, bro"...
@@warchitect73 I mean, that seems pedantic. Lying in court isn't contempt of court, it's perjury, if under oath. Keep in mind these are teenagers that RECORDED THEMSELVES (the video had everyone’s face in it) and Gilbert PD still had “trouble” finding out who killed the kid.
That poor dog... How has he just let it sit in his apartment for 6 days?!?!?!?!? Securing my dog's safety would've been my first call at the jail... That should be an animal cruelty charge as well!! Even if he doesn't have any friends/family that could take it in I'm sure if he had told the police they could have went to his house and brought it to the shelter so it at least could get some food and water...
Speaking as someone who has unfortunately been arrested once, they generally ask you about if you have any animals or humans that will need checking on, even if they anticipate releasing you in a few hours. He probably DID have not only a chance to tell them but was probably asked point blank. In other words, even more his fault!
Even less so I'd say, with the drunk its at least objectively true that alcohol screws with the brain and decision making - that mfer was *fully* aware of what he was doing
IMHO it's a lot more like saying something like "but I was really mad" or "it should be OK because they deserved it". Just because you have a reason for doing it doesn't make it any better. It arguably makes it worse, because it means it was definitely premeditated and you knew exactly what you were doing.
I would argue that this defence would work better than the prank defence. There's a diffence between the crime of passion and pre planned crime. Especially when it comes to murder. You still go to prison but for a shorter amonunt of time

@@MereologistAs you mentioned, 'attempted murder' is perhaps going a tad too far. However, IMHO he's surely culpable of attempting to maim, and committing assault. Spraying poison which is toxic to humans, over fresh food intended for immediate consumption, is at least an attempt at causing widespread injuries and panic (as is dumping ice into a fryer). There's also the instance he terrified that generous couple and made them both fear imminent harm (assault). The fellow needs to stop at every tree he passes, take a knee, and apologise in Entish for being such an utter oxygen thief.
Funny part is they can now seize his monetary assets since they were gained as a direct result of doing crimes. So that dream of posting bail may not be so realistic.
Well he's clearly not making that much money, he can't even post a 10,000 bail even if it was $20,000, that's only $2,000. Unless it's cash only, then it would be $20,000... He's broke, or he would have been out of jail😂
Those 2 people at the end seemed like genuine nice people just trying to help a person they thought was going through hard times only to have it thrown in their faces just for trying to help. I just can’t believe people actually call bullying 2 good Samaritan’s content.
And what he was doing there is entirely a crime, too. That could easily be prosecuted as intimidation or even assault. It doesn't matter that he didn't make his claims about the rock until after they bought him stuff, his statements definitely would still induce a _fear_ of potential bodily harm going forward (and were clearly intended to), and an implication that their behavior towards him would decide whether he became violent or not, which is really all that's required.
What scares me the most is what if a family who couldnt spare the money or someone on hard times couldnt help. Just thinking of what he might of done just sends shivers down my spine. Or someone who spent their last bit of money to get themselves food. Tho i know Mcdonalds doesnt sell $1 burgers anymore its still a thought.

Ive said it before, and i'll say it again. Nuisance streaming should be made a crime, and websites that host it should be held accountable for hosting it. Tiktok, youtube, twitter, and twitch should all be held accountable for actively promoting and consistently paying people to commit crimes.
Nah, I absolutely hate these types of nuisance streamers… but attacking the hosting sites would impact every form of content on those sites, and ramp up algorithmic censorship wherein a lot of non-offending content would be preemptively censored to avoid hypothetically potential lawsuits. It would also likely be used as an excuse for censorship of speech and expression in general. We also shouldn’t ignore the fact that the bulk (if not all) of the income these creeps get is from donations… and if it wasn’t being funded directly via the host, such as through a super chat on yt, it would simply be funded under false pretenses to hide it… all this to say, the hosting sites aren’t paying them much, if any, to begin with in my estimation. Accountability should rest squarely on the shoulders of the offenders, and the consequences they face should be significant. Perhaps holding the people who are actually donating to these guys accountable would also help.

@@obnobn2345 the point is that the victim of a prank should also enjoy it, which means they aren't really a victim in the same way as this poisoning "prank" would make victims.

The funny aspect is that they can now seize his monetary assets because they were obtained as a direct result of committing crimes. So your desire of posting bail may not be as realistic.
Bail is almost always posted as a bond, and you only need to pay 10% of the bail cost up front to get out.

Ive said it before, and i'll say it again. Nuisance streaming should be made a crime, and websites that host it should be held accountable for hosting it. Tiktok, youtube, twitter, and twitch should all be held accountable for actively promoting and consistently paying people to commit crimes.
Especially at airports. Aren't they federally owned? Also, make it illegal to make money off of these type of videos.
The same way "hate crimes" add to the severity of the base crime and impacts sentencing, "clout crimes" should definitely become a thing.

And claiming it’s a prank.
@@CorpoAgent73he didn't what?
@@QuanPookie"Since you were here in jail alone over Xmas, we've been thoughtfully seasoning your food and water with Raid, just as you like it; we love pranks too! 😁"
I don't know what's more messed up, the fact that He did what He did in a warped attempt to get Internet "fame" or that He most likely won't even serve any time in prison and will most likely do what He did again?
Agree, he won’t serve any time in jail due to black privilege.
Yaaaaaay! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Prison. Prison. Prison! No parole please.
Arse.
I bet Arizona is going to try to make an example out of him.
he needs locked up for a good bit of time...he has shown repeatedly that he's not fit to live among us in society
Yessss!!! Lock'em up!!!
I think the Most Effective Tactic against this ABUSE of the Public would be:
MANDATORY DE-MONETIZATION of ALL "PRANK" Content!
Additionally, going after the platforms that freely allow this shit without taking IMMEDIATE action.
You think guys like ed bassmaster should be demonetized? he does pranks... no. Not a good idea. Too broad
@@Mattenedthat’s why he also put the “prank” in quotations
I'd also make it an aggravating factor in any crime committed and uploaded for money/digital clout. 1.5x factor. 2 year sentence for a crime, you get 3. 10 year sentence for that felony you uploaded, you get 15! Hooray. All these vids do is encourage similar behavior.
@@Mattened not necessarily… any creators with legitimate fans can use Patreon, etc. - what it Stops is payment from a Disgusted Public simply from an Outraged Reaction.
- payment for being disgusting, insulting, or otherwise notable for all the Wrong Reasons.
How might content like this change Simply By Needing to Include a section where the 'prankster' needs to ask for support from 'fans'? That dependency upon the kindness of others itself is a mind freak for these sociopaths!
Why can't this content be censored? Allowing people to generate income by video recording harrassment should be ILLEGAL & punishable by JAIL TIME!
The fact that he is not in prison yet is so frustrating.. He needs to go away
Agree
People like this are a menace to society and need to be evaluated.
Poor dog 😢 'she hasn't eaten in 6 days' - ayfkm?? You didn't even bother to arrange for someone to care for her after your antics got you locked away?? POS. I really hope someone stepped in to save this innocent dog, how gut wrenchingly awful. This society doesn't give AF about animals, doing something terrible to an animal isn't even punished. That's why people like this DB walk around thinking they can treat people horribly. There's no standard of decency in a society that treats their most vulnerable the way we do.
I took that as "I don't know anyone who likes me enough to help me in this situation".
i doubt he is telling the truth, if he is making over 6 g a month you can bet he has a hoe latched to him probably more the one and they would be taking care of the dog
I'm sure he doesn't actually have a dog and was just lying to get sympathy. I see it all the time in cases like this.
@@StoutShako he was walking a dog in one of the videos, it could be his
If cops know there is an animal alone at home as a result if an arrest, they would make sure the dog is fed and taken care of. He clearly didn't care enough to mention in when he got arrested.
For every Evil crime this sociopath committed made me so angry! 😡 Especially the way he treated the couple who spent their hard earned money to pay for his meal.😡😡 I truly hope he get a lot of time behind bars for the criminal acts he committed!
