Potential from a Charged Disk

  • Physics Ninja looks at the electrical potential V produced by a charged disk with a uniform charge distribution. The potential is calculated above the surface of the disk, on the main center axis. The general result is first evaluated, then limits are taken to look at the behavior far and close to the charged disk. The electric field close to the disk is also looked at.
