I'll Take It. The only thing I would change is the interior to black. I like to eat in my car and if I waste or spill something it won't show as much. I absolutely love the Camry in the LE Trim. I rented this exact Camry LE White. I didn't want to take it back. The Camry is an excellent choice hands down. If your looking for just basic transportation the Camry is it.
I'm currently renting one for the next week to 2 weeks because my Sentra is getting repaired. The size difference is noticable between the two cars. The interior is amazing and so many tech features. Very comfortable seating too
Ironic. I braved the ba-jillion degrees of heat and literally bought this exact model today-- Camry LE in Super White with Ash interior. A beautiful car that seems like a really great value. In addition to the usual expectations for a modern mid-sized sedan, my want-list included: (1) a normally-aspirated engine with a fuel delivery system that wouldn't make the intake valves look like Han Solo encased in "carbonite" after less than 60K miles of driving, (2) enough horses to not get killed on the freeway but with MPG numbers that don't make me feel too much like a planet-wrecking cretin, (3) a regular (non-CVT) automatic transmission, (4) classy looking alloy wheels with tires that don't look like giant rubber bands, (5) a head unit that doesn't look like a Fisher Price tablet super-glued to the dash (sorry, 2020 Corolla lovers...I just can't abide that look), (6) a power driver's seat...just cuz, (7) NO moonroof (I could say they are a wasteful extravagance...but in reality I'm just a clueless twit who would forget to close it in a hurricane), (8) cloth seats that don't feel like they are upholstered in "teddy bear fur", and (9) an overall aesthetic design that won't put it in league with the AMC Gremlin or Walter White's Aztek in a dozen or so years. The Camry LE ticked all those boxes plus gave me a few more. Also, having spent 99% of my driving time over the last 15 years in SUVs, I forgotten one thing: a properly set up mid-sized sedan offers a fantastic ride. This thing is like hot butter on your breakfast toast. The only bummer was I didn't get to buy mine from ToyotaJeff!
Great. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine. It drives and handles so well that it’s got me wondering if the whole SUV/CUV/truck craze is really just a type of mass insanity.
Another great video, Jeff! Nice to see a barebones Camry because they really aren't so barebones after all - lots of standard features. My 2019 is the SE version of what you reviewed in the video, Super White color but mine has the black interior. The only addition was all weather mats and mud flaps. I really wanted blind spot monitoring/RCTA but up here in the Northwest it's hard to get without a moon roof thrown in. Anyway, an LE or SE without tons of add-ons is still a great, reliable car at a budget price.
Love the vid Jeff I think this is funny on Toyota’s website when you build your Camry on the pictures in shows the 7 in information screen in the gauge cluster. And Jeff I don’t care if your sweating it’s a bodily function stay safe

Hey Toyotajeff, I’m crossed between either a 2016 Camry Se or a 2018 Camry Le....which one do you think I should get...I’m a little worried about some 8 speed issues i heard about
I was deciding on a 2019 Honda Accord or a 2019 Toyota Camry and my final choice was a 2019 Toyota Camry SE with Celestial Silver and black leather interior because of how good the safety rating is.
@Tom Tran....very wise decision ..Toyota staying with non turbo, and no CVT except for hybrid means much longer longevity & reliability than Honda.. Honda having huge issues with both their small turbos and CVTS

They both are good cars so I'm not going to hate on either one of them cuz I would buy both of them.
Drove one yesterday. Very nice. I like that fact that they're putting more in the LE models than ever before. However, the climate controls make the whole center stack look cheap. I'm not opposed to manual control, but these look way out of place.

I just bought a 19 Camry le why when you turn the fan off it still blowing cold air? Not sure if something wrong or not. Not really blowing hard but it will freeze you out in fan off position
No sweat! Just turn the AC knob control to minimum cold level then you should be able to turn off the A/C on off button, and use the fan only for air circulation.
Hi Jeff, is your dealership service department able to upgrade Apple carplay in 2018 camry? I already asked toyota dealship nearby in New jersey and New York , but they all replied that it was not available yet.
Car companies are ruining it with automatic stop at traffic lights, push button start that have a history of getting stuck in start, and screens screens SCREAMS .....which is why i stick with my 2012 Corolla with 180k miles
One flaw of the new Camry is the weak rear suspension. The rear suspension can’t handle much weight. Put 3 people in the back, and the rear end rides dangerously low. I saw a new Camry merging onto the highway that was practically dragging on the ground. The wheels had to have been rubbing.
Yea, people don't know better. U.S. = Camry World = Corolla Camry isn't available in many countries and even if it was, it's pricier than the Corolla. Corolla has gotten so much better.
Jae_Amp_Jamp definitely agree but I have to say the fact that rear space has shrunk a lot by 5 inches vs the 11th generation has really disappointed me.
There are no transmission problems, just uninformed users. In the LE trim, the car will switch between eco mode to normal mode on its own. If you jump on the gas, you're feeling the car adjust it's timing in conjunction with kicking the transmission down to a lower gear. If you drive the car like a cruiser, there's never an issue. It's not a sports car.
