The modulation on this is a mini-ochd dancing around those 6 modulated voices. Seriously cool to see that idea distilled down into another module from Instruo. ... I should get to the video of Jason and I discussing that from earlier this year!
The initial pwm saw sound early in the video is very similar to the pwm saw sound found in Alpha Junos. Mix that with modulated pulses through a chorus with a high rate you’ll have yourself a hoover.
This is so awesome!!! Such a fun and really musical demo ❤ Octave offset parallel tracking as modulation to the FM input is a stroke of genius! It brings in sub harmonics?! I’m totally stealing this trick 😂
I absolutely adore Instruo, and everything I have from them is beautiful, but they've hit a point where frankly I can't differentiate a lot of their oscillator modules, at least from a technical standpoint. I genuinely don't know what the differences between a lot of them are. Still love them, but makes it hard to "choose".
May I ask you why is this saw more interesting or bigger deal than in any Moog? For example in Mavis? It sounds to me a nice deep and thick moogish saw. But not more what Mavis can do. Let me know pls. Thx, David
Thanks for this, bought this after watching the presentation video by instruo and was hoping id see a proper use of it musically, in the mail, sounds awesome.

My Ochd is rarely less than half used on a patch, I usually use all 8 voices. Such a perfectly tuned set of lfos
The summoned demons are chill, and send their warm regards.
Just gonna casually drop Jeremiah McRecording and keep it pushing? You wild for that
I can't be contained
I guess I need a rack of just Instruo modules.. Everything they make is superb sounding.
You're expressing yourself aren't you! Makes me feel warm. Love the sounds. Becoming a long time fan
Great module and demo. Thank you sir!
I always enjoyed your mixing/sound. Would be so interesting with a video covering that.
The squiggles and the squelches make my heart happy.
I love the noises these combos have made
7:12 There it is! Great to see you at Velocity, Jeremy - thanks for your performance and knowledge
I ❤ that thumbnail so much! Yr the freakin beat Jeremy, great vid as always

I don’t have any modular and definitely not ready to try, but this all sounded absolutely excellent, both the oscillator and the musicianship.
You can get a lot of this from pigments! Doesn't sound quite the same but it does have a lot of things that are similar
i love this sequence
It does feel like this oscillator needs some quality modulation to come to life, but man oh man when it does
Oh yes yes, I've been so curious about this one!
Feels like we got very close to a quick Atoms For Peace - Ingenue cover at around 8:50. 😄 Great demo, and thanks for doing what you do!
This is so awesome!!!
Such a fun and really musical demo ❤

@@RedMeansRecording No YOU are!!
mmmmmm. Tasty! Thanks for sharing. Helps my morning quite a bit :)
Cruinn sounds so good.
Nicely shown to us, Jeremiah McRecording. Thank you.
Delete yourself

I dig that sound… there might be one on order now.. 😂
Outro jam is ace.
soooo sick
Hey bro, i remember, not that long ago, you reluctantly starting eurorack. Ha. Bull by the horns, you are. ✌️
I can’t decide between this and Saich. I already have chainsaw so saich make more sense but this is next level… anyway great video as always!
I’m thinking Saich too, have you decided?
I’d take cruinn any day

This is a stereo supersaw. Moog doesn't have that.

Can't help but notice the arm band. I'd guess Remy Wolf or Aisu Art? 🐺
The former :3
@@RedMeansRecording Thought so! I have a couple myself.
Opened a portal, but they are chill
Do you feel the Make Noise XPO is different enough to do a video on that? Seems like they both play in a very similar way
I have one on order but I can't say yet
I guess I’m not fully utilizing my Pizza yet.
Absolute filth. 😊
is anything better than extremely wide sounds? I say no
I think you are my spirit animal
It would be cool to see someone try to reproduce a "Blade Runner" type CS-80 patch.
It's very close isn't it
@@RedMeansRecording Ideally such an experiment would include QPAS and maybe Mimeophon or FX Aid.
