I was literally just reconsidering this bag compared to my Tropos (for dad bag uses). If they could only square off the bottom so it would stand up by itself - it would be the ultimate bag. I do agree with you on your first vid... The vertx material feels better and more durable though. An additional smaller version would be awesome too (nothing major - just like 2 to 3 liters less). Awesome vid as always. Thx!
@@personaldrummer313 thanks! yeah its a bit small. and doesnt have those 3 vertical quick access stash pockets on the sides and front. If only they had a 22Lish... haha
would you consider this your daily driver? I'm debating on getting something like this vs other backpacks like the ulanzi bp9/10 for mainly edc and travel
yeah i use this, or the 25L patagonia black hole, or the vertx ready pack 2.0. I'm also intrigued by the eberlestock little trick which is the smaller version of this! I had the Ulanzi backpacks. they were just a bit stiff in my opinion.... like you were carrying around a foam box around
its large enough to hold a 32oz nalgene, BUT it will eat up space into the bag a bit, so as long as ur bag isn't bulging with stuff, it will barely fit!
@@DesmondCheng would it hold a 26oz Yeti, sorry for asking so many questions none of the videos or pictures show the functionality or lack of the side pockets.
@@FlagRaiders so my nalgene is about 3.5" wide and it just barely fits, so a 3" would be no problem! I have the Yeti 18oz with straw lid which is about 9.8" tall and my yeti fits perfectly in there!
Any chance you’ve seen the Eberlestock Little Trick? Looks like a smaller version of this. Would love to hear your thoughts. Awesome vids!!
oooooooooo i forgot about that one! ill have to get my hands on one!
If I’m not mistaken, you’re able to add on a wait belt
Yes you can add a waist belt
thank u for pointing that out!

The Bandit is their smaller version of this bag. It is about 14L.

@@DesmondCheng thanks for your thoughts! i was just looking into the little trick, but it looks like it doesn't stand on its own :/
@@ACpiano94 yeah i dont think it does!
How much kg you can put into that bad boy? You think it handles 12kg?
hmmmm yah i think it can def handle 12kg!
@@DesmondCheng Thx
Thanks a lot now I need to buy another bag
lol glad i could help inspire u !
Could you show how large of a bottle could fit in the side pockets?

@@FlagRaiders can u measure the diameter of the 26oz bottle? ill come pare that against my 32oz nalgene and let u know if it fits
@@DesmondCheng I it’s about 3” wide by 10” hogh
