Yes! I've loved his work for a long time. I hated they kept dwelling on Will, but loved how CBV answered but steered the convo back to his show that's coming out. CBV, Angela, Denzel and other Black actors who have been in Hollywood longer than Will, do their great work and go home. CBV said "we don't go out just to be seen" I love how he gave examples of how he has protected his wife without putting hands on someone and he spoke about it so eloquently. With anything especially in the real world whether it's Hollywood or not, there's gonna be consequences. So any man can protect their family without putting your career, reputation and family on the line. The only time you hear about CBV, Angela and Denzel is when they have a show or film coming out. Love the the way he broke the Will and Chris situation down and made us look at it from both yet different perspectives. Heck, he needs to have a conversation with Mr. Smith and maybe even bring both parties together to resolve the situation. Kudos to Mr. Courtney Vance just an awesome guy.❤️

Great interview....the wisdom he has and the way he delivers the messages he wants us to receive...haven't seen that in a while. Being the safe black man is not easy...at some point being safe is going to backfire. This is why we have been so careful about how we act in public...everything that you've done great will be diminished with one mistake and I hate to see it. The industry has always been the Devils playground and now social media magnifies those pitfalls a thousand times....smh...tough...
