found an old song of theirs on an old mp3 player... surprised it to find out it wasnt a hit (nevermore- great tune) and thought they were a 1 hit band...then i find a bunch of great tunes- like this one, which ive heard a few times, got some play in Canada. under appreciated band
A highly underrated and under appreciated song. I had the pleasure of seeing this band live in a small venue in Columbus, OH many years ago. The energy level was off the charts. So glad that I got to see this song performed live. What a night that was.
I found a ticket stub from 2003 Vancouver. BC this afternoon. It was such a great show and Randy Bachman from BTO joined TSOOL for a great rendition of “taking care of business”. I wish they’d “broken” in North America.
This video never ceases to amuse me, really different, God, they're so unique, I have a good cackle when i see this video, by the by, I have never tired of loving this song, one of their finer tunes T Leckner, Montreal, Canada
I heard this song in like 2005 back home in Scotland, loved it, got listening to the band. Imagine to my suprise that I found out today they are Swedish and from Goteborg...where I live now...and I never knew, infact my GFs sister saw them in Liseberg last year...and didn't tell me.
Saw them at Irving Plaza NYC in the early '00s touring this LP. Great show. They got the entire audience to sit during an extended stretch of one of their songs. Fun! I know it was a stage schtick, but it was a different schtick!
Hello Matthias, I hope you will have time to read this: I recently lost a friend, I was looking in my collection and found Behind the Music to transcend the loneliness I was going through with a loss and i remembered when you were in montreal a while ago at le petit campus, downtown in march 2003....I want to thankyou for creating such an amazing CD, which is vulnerable and powerful at the same time, I wish you success and that you have this creative spark for a long long time, although I am sad TSool had to say goodbye I am still in love with this music which never got what it deserved at the Grammys, to be able to live this long musically these days in this sort of musical vacuum is something to be proud of, I wish you all the best , I think it takes a lot of courage to express things which, what i see in much superficiality and short attention spans, are deep and it's like there is communication from you...thankyou, Matthias
Ha I remember seeing this video late at night on VH1 or sumthin and thinking WTF? But now that I know that there is good music in the world (I was a rap fan then) I love this band!
Seen 'em twice now. The first time was in the Corn Exchange, Cambridge, when they were supporting Kula Shaker (if i remember right), and the second time they played in home town in Sweden, at a festival...excellent
I've posted before... and what still needs to be said is that this sound-track should and very well could blow your fookin mind... see them live if you ever get the chance... they are quite good!!!!!
They are my fave international band OAT. Even ahead of my metal favorites Iron Maiden 😬 I’m from Canada and my fave Canadian 🇨🇦 band is power pop quartet SLOAN. Go check them out! Bubble gum poppie beatle-y ear candy! Been around 30 years and they switch instruments while playing live. They each write and sing on all of their albums as well. ❤ 🎶 💿 😊
This song was in MVP 2003. I have no other relevant information or opinions to offer. Thank you for allowing me to waste 15-25 seconds of your life, depending on your reading speed.
This was the American version of the video? I never saw it on MTV or anywhere else until many years later. It's a great song and both versions of the video are very well done.
@Ihaveguitars Try tuning your ear to 'Secret Machines' if you haven't already done so... saw them wipe the floor supporting Interpol at the Academy in Manchester a few years ago... very loud and very impressive, especially the drummer... then there is GSYBE
That's true lol. This is the first time I ever saw em, I figured they were a lot younger and better looking xD. Not that it's important but still, can't help but come up with images in your head.

I love to play this song when I’m cleaning my house xx
Perhaps one of the best pure songs ever. I never get tired of hearing it. Thanks TSOOL.
From 10 years later: I couldn't agree more!!
@@trysometruth im here too
Agreed, probably the best rock song of the 2000s.
Man time really is a fucking con
TSOOL is The Soundtrack of Our Lives. Just realized that. Great alt band.
A highly underrated and under appreciated song. I had the pleasure of seeing this band live in a small venue in Columbus, OH many years ago. The energy level was off the charts. So glad that I got to see this song performed live. What a night that was.
Sveriges bästa band genom tiderna. Sanslöst bra😊❤️
Remember when it was featured on a 'Six Feet Under' ep? Just one more reason to love TSOOL and 'Six Feet Under'!
Yeees! Ah Claire… ❤
(Hope you are good, pal, 13 years is no joke)
I found a ticket stub from 2003 Vancouver. BC this afternoon. It was such a great show and Randy Bachman from BTO joined TSOOL for a great rendition of “taking care of business”.

Small details ... brilliant song/video.
"The action you take only make you small,
just the way it should be"
Brilliant!

Heard this song for the first time playing MVP Baseball 2003! Also saw them in 2005 opening for Robert Plant & The Strange Sensation. Top band!
me too, except for the Robert Plant part
One of the best rock'n'roll bands around
Best band to come out of Sweden in years!!!!
This video never ceases to amuse me, really different, God, they're so unique, I have a good cackle when i see this video, by the by, I have never tired of loving this song, one of their finer tunes T Leckner, Montreal, Canada

Naaahhh! disloyal GF sister..! I'm sorry to say I missed them too, despite living in Gothenburg as well!
the very first song I heard from these guys
2 days later I bought the album. Maybe one of the bests I've ever listened
this song is genious and so is the lyric.
Best song in the history of rock n roll.
Saw them at Irving Plaza NYC in the early '00s touring this LP. Great show. They got the entire audience to sit during an extended stretch of one of their songs. Fun! I know it was a stage schtick, but it was a different schtick!

Big big big big Song!!!! Please come back guys!!!!
It's like 15 years since I don't listen to this really good song
fantastic song
I second that. They opened at the show I saw 'em at a few years back and totally upstaged the headliners.
Probably the band I've seen most times. But easy enough in Sweden I guess. :) Still one of my favourite bands. And Ebbot is a good guy.
You gotta love the bass player.
