Good for you for taking that step to have no contact with your parents. I'm sure it was not a easy decision but one that was necessary for your overall health. That type of relationship isn't spoken about, most times shamed upon and it's really sad. Because more often than not, this is the best option for both parties involved.
Love this kind of video. Love your art, and all the best to you and your family

I've had no contact with my parents since 2020 and it's so reassuring hearing you speak about it every now and then, as so many people are quick to pass judgement without knowing these situations ❤❤

This was cool learning a bit more about you! I'm glad you've found confidence in yourself and beliefs over the years. I know not talking to your parents is out of the norm, but I'm happy to hear you did what is best for you and your mental health!
I've been digging your watercolor paintings and would love to see another one for Thursday's upload 👀haha

I just watched you video about drawing daily so was very interested in getting to know you. I’m a old lady, and you probably have a following of much younger people. I too was estranged from my family, and have no contact with any of my relatives. I wanted to go to art school when I was in high school, but wasn’t allowed to. I’m finally retired and have recently started drawing again, I fear my perfectionist self is holding me back. Thank you for sharing about yourself.

I hear you about not keeping in contact with family at times. My sister is a one of these toxic progressive types and I don’t see the need to maintain any type of relationship with her.

Dumping some astrology knowledge here. I still consider myself inexperienced when it comes to interpreting astrological placements, but I can at least explain some things. (in re to 4:00)
    1. The sign that people refer to as "their zodiac sign" is called your sun sign. In this case, you are a Scorpio Sun.
    2. Your rising, ascendant, and first house are all the same thing- in your case, your first house is also a Scorpio placement. This determines the placement of the houses that follow, because there are twelve houses in astrology, and they cycle through the signs in order for the most part.
The fact that your sun sign & rising are the same can be interpreted to mean that, basically, "what you see is what you get." The rising (or ascendant) sign represents the first impression people will get of you, while your sun sign is your true personality (sun sign representing the ego). Ergo, the first impression people get of you will be accurate and close to your true outer self. Your moon sign works in tandem with your sun, but represents your inner self; how you cope with emotions, that kind of thing. The rising, sun, and moon are often considered together. Them all being the same is interesting.
And, re: the assumptions made, Libra is an air sign and Virgo is an earth sign. In astrology, water/fire and earth/air are pairs (which makes the fire in your chart make sense-- water and fire are the more passionate signs). Earth placements represent someone who is grounded, in touch with many facets of their life, someone who has or desires control over their environment. I could understand why someone sees those traits in you. Air placements, on the other hand, should be found in a person who tries a more hands-off approach. You having next to no air signs in your chart makes sense to me.
To stop myself from rambling further, you being a Scorpio doesn't necessarily surprise me (as your chart says it shouldn't). Your husband being a Capricorn does sort of intrigue me because I would think of Scorpios and Capricorns as sort of opposed to each other.
Also, it's stupid of me to put this at the end, but I'm not an expert, I know that astrology is effectively a pseudoscience, and I'm not trying to do deep personal analysis on a RUclipsr. Just offering some insights based on what I've observed as someone who's been subscribed for a few years. I hope I didn't say anything that makes you (Sara) uncomfortable. That's all.

Thank you for answering my question on speaking terms with family ❤. I realize I could’ve worded that differently as I really hope I didn’t seem harsh. If so, I apologize! I love that you have a good support system around you ☺️. I’m still in the hiring process for that for me 😂. Also, I can totally relate to the boring language 😂. I don’t know Puerto Rican slang but I know the formal terms just fine. So keeping up with GenZ Puerto Ricans is a struggle 😂.

Hullo Sara, I enjoy listening to the Artists I watch and getting to know them as a person not just some "content maker"! I had to stop creating traditional artworks when I switched to digital workflow. I kept going back to paint and paper and I was NOT catching onto digital methods, so stopping the traditional methods was essential for me. SO now that I have been retired, I am focusing on traditional Art methods. I was told that if I want to start creating art again, I would need to branch out and work in a completely new to me medium. I picked soft pastels as I have made art in so many different mediums that it was truly the only one I never worked in. Now my watercolors have come back to me and I am so much happier! Yep, I have worked with Acrylic paints and I completed several commissions and sold several more paintings when working with acrylics. Like anything you must spend time discovering the "quirks" or methods of working with any medium. I have used mediums with Acrylics to speed up and slow down drying times! It truly depends upon what you are trying to do!

    • @loredanabeatrice6289

as a romanian, definitely! though i d say that a lot of terms are taken from english. gen z are heads deep into TikTok so it’s inevitable that it happens.

Most important question: WHERE DID YOU GET THIS TOP?

  • @simonah2715
    @simonah2715 3 месяца назад +1

As a romanian, I can confirm that gen z speaks way different from they way you may understand. They use a lot of barrow words from english that they added a twist. They think this is cool, I dont. I'm really glad that you dont want to forget hoe to speak romanian. With time, if you dont practice it, you will forget words and your pronunciation will get rusty. I advice to listen to some romanian artists from time to time to see if you can understand the words. It s a fun way to get into a language. That s how I had learned english. Also tv shows. I watch them with subtitles. I think you can turn them to romanian if you want. God luck and succes!
