I think the answers pretty obvious… he’s 100% dead. Died years ago while on vacation in Italy
He confirmed it though already. He even said they were going to show it but decided to cut to black.

I never understood how it was even up for debate. Anyone that actually watched the show properly knows he dies in the end.
The aftermath of each character could be a good one-off small movie, I think.

The fundamental question is, will Wise Guy be as effective as a show like The Sopranos was? And it will be, even more so. But until it is, it's going to be hard to verify that it thinks it'll be more effective

Probably the one and only series I've watched from first to last episode multiple times and loved it every time. Can't say that about a lot of shows these days. Sopranos is one of the very best.

All who have commented that The Sopranos was the greatest show of all time….I couldn’t agree more! I was hooked just minutes into the first episode and never looked back. Since its creation and success on HBO, there have been a few series worthy of our appreciation and they would have to credit The Sopranos for paving the way. Bravo Mr. David Chase and thank you for the absolute best concept and incredibly brilliant actors.

It really did take a very particular confluence of people and circumstances occurring at a particular time for this series to become a reality --- it's difficult to imagine it being greenlighted today (or even if it was, of being as compelling as it was)
Sadly, PC or Woke culture has destroyed Hollywood. The Sopranos or even Breaking Bad would never get made the same way in 2024.

All of the greatest character focused shows that came after were because The Sopranos paved th way. Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Succession. Deeply flawed characters that really drew you in and kept you no matter what horrible thing they did.

Great timing i just finished another rewatch
Undoubtedly one of the best mafia dramas ever ,,made a huge Star of the late great Jake's gandolfini . Great writing and the on screen violence is almost real.sadly alot of stars featured have gone on now... . hopefully the next sopranos film will explain more on the tony blundetto character,he wasn't in the many saints of Newark

Sopranos is my favorite TV show EVER. Of course the acting was amazing but the writing is what keeps bringing me back. The writing is SO good and it has such layers to it that you don't pick up on certain details until you watch it multiple times.

For 25 years I had to make concessions, I wanted to watch Sopranos but I made concessions I had RUclips clips. I wanted to eat manicotti but I made concessions I ate grilled cheese off the radiator. And I’ll say this there’s no scraps in my scrap books
