I will never understand why people catfish. Like one way or another people will find out that you are a catfish. It’s so hilarious that they always get mad when their lies are brought to light.
Plenty of people lose their life savings to catfishers. It works, otherwise people wouldn't keep at it. So many scammers of all sorts.

Sorry to hear these women were catfished. But happy to know that neither were physically hurt of financially scammed. Absolutely fell in love with Busan. So looking forward to returning soon. The world has truly gone crazy. Incels seem to be popping up more frequently now. The whole cafe scene in S. Korea would have really upset me. Name calling shows more about the person's lack of self-esteem. Wasting good coffee is inexcusable. Thanks for sharing

Was just catfished by a scammer from Nigeria pretending to be a Korean actor. 😂 I knew an actor wouldn't get on Facebook chatting with people through Messenger. When all the questions were wanting to know all about me and when I asked a question in Korean I never got a response. Only more questions. 🚩 When he started asking for pictures, that's when I told him I knew he was who he was portraying, and that conversation ended real quick. 😂 I started reading comments from other women on the page and saw he went so far as to ask for money. LOL Dude, you a famous actor who makes millions, and you need money? Such a joke these days.
I had a similar experience although I don't know what country they were from.

More seriously, although this is entertainment for us viewers, these are cautionary tales and these videos may actually help some people out there who may be travelling to Korea /Japan wearing rose-tinted (or K drama-tinted) glasses. So keep doing what you’re doing! ❤️

Also I watched a video recently where a government official from Nigeria was talking about how they are trying to cut down on the scamming bc of how its ruining peoples impressions of their country in a similar way that India has problems with scam call centers. Its really sad that a whole country can be known for the bad and not the beauty of their own country because of these people who have no shame.

It’s creepy to think of him pretending to not be there, but secretly watching her -chills 😱 (and not in a good way 🤢). Korea has an amazingly low crime rate, especially for violent crime, but has more than its share of creepy stuff - maybe because the men suppress their overt aggression to conform, and it comes out in other, rather weird, ways…🤷♂️
Well, I have to say, as a mature woman, my blood just boils when I hear of these poor girls being victimized in a foreign country. I don’t believe most people are like this, far from it! I think most Koreans would be incensed that these POS excuses for men are giving them bad name! I am definitely on the far end of your viewer range as I am 68 yrs old. But I have become obsessed with all things Korean, from the music groups (let’s hear it for 2pm!) to KDramas, the food, the history, etc. Please keep up the stories and I hope your channel hits 100k very soon!

There are multiple Christian cults over here, unfortunately. And they almost always pick young, attractive and/or friendly looking members to pick foreigners off the streets and invite them to their cults in my experience.

Something like this happened to me. He tried to convince me he was G-Dragon 🚩, that he was spending Christmas with his family 🚩and that he didn’t have Kakaotalk 🚩He sent me a video on Christmas day, to show he was with ‘family’ 😒, I reversed image searched a screenshot and found it was from a couple of years ago from G-Dragon’s socials. I exposed his red flags to him and got him to ‘fess up…Nigerian 🕵🏽♀️
I don't know who the person was but same thing with GD! I was on Meeff and a guy matched with me and it said GD( I knew it wasn't him but I was bored and had time) he wanted to move to Line or telegram and I lied and said I didn't have enough storage. By the time I checked my messages again his account was gone 😂

I almost got scammed by a guy trying to be Suga/Agust D. I got some dm's from him and I was like "Oh okay, sure you're Min Yoongi"🙄 After a short period of time, I just got tired of him, and left him on read. Now I'm wondering if Hybe should be made aware that there are people out there like this.

I've come across Hyun on HelloTalk. He didn't want to talk on the phone. We talked for about two weeks. He said he lived in Atlanta, GA. And he used Danny's pics. I blocked and deleted and I still have the pics he used of Danny.

@@sisilessthan3 Now this was 3 months ago and more than likely he's probably blocked me, because I did warn him that I expose scammers on social media as well as hellotalk. So I'm sure that he's probably still doing it but maybe under a different name.

I tried to use hello talk to learn Korean ( in the USA) and some weirdo started talking to as of it was a dating app, I told him off and deleted the app from my phone. I just wanted to learn Korean. So yeah those apps are not been use as what they are meant to be use for.
Same thing with Tandem. I thought it was a language app. I promptly exited after someone tried to talk to me instead of an exchange of language.

It makes me so angry, poor girl such a hurtful moment in her life. No matter how handsome the men are Do NOT trust them, not even for the money. Do not replay to them, delete it and block them. Red flags everywhere. Guys who really like you will take months to tell you and they will only hold your hand perhaps a little peck. That's what my 2 friends told me, 1 is already married but they had a very low key unfantasized relationship. My other friend still strong and has met his family. Note here they both speak Hangul.
