    Thanks again for the invite that was fun and very different. I don’t think I’ve ever fished open water in the middle of February.

    Looked like a great day on the water. I was able to get out on Mark Twain Lake in NE Missouri last weekend for a beautiful day of crappie fishing and brought some home for a fry. I may try the river later this weekend and see if the walleye are biting.

    Great video. Question. Whats the advantage with the yellow line? Thanks in advance.

    • @AnglerX
      @AnglerX  5 месяцев назад

      I use the yellow line as a visual indicator. When casting I watch the line to go limp indicating that the bait has hit the bottom. I’ll then lift the jig again by reeling or lifting the rod and wait again for it to fall back to the bottom. I repeat this sequence all the way back to the boat. When a fish strikes the line will jump and it’s very easy to see with yellow line. Also, in low light or night fishing the line glows with very little light.
