We recorded this 4k ultra hd video during our trip to beautiful village Hallstatt, Austria on June 2019.
Hallstatt is located between Salzburg and Graz, it is a UNESCO Heritage Site and brings more than one million tourists each year. Our guided walking tour is about 0.3 miles (0.5 km) long, starts at Hallstatt Lahn Viewpoint, ends at Classic Hallstatt View and covers most attractions and historic sites of Hallstatt.

I live next to Hallstatt and the crowds or the 2 hours of tourism is really a problem for the residents because privacy is no longer present. Imagine you have 50 people around your house who inspect every step of every step or just in or in front of yours Stand house although you only want to enjoy your life in peace and as every day of the year it is stressful because you have no more minutes without strangers
I like the natural sounds you have captured in your walk..people usually insert music and spoil the naturalness.
Hallstatt was one of my favourite towns that we saw in Austria on our trip. . To retrace our steps is great.Thank you so much.

Thanks for taking me on this amazing tour of the village, brought back memories of my visit in September 2009, what an amazing visit it was for me, had a beer at the lake side cafe which you showed me, visited the village square, thanks for showing me the cemetery and church which i could nOt visit as it was getting dark and i had to return to Salzburg, Hope i can visit again with my family Thank you again

Beautiful place but the locals are overwhelmed by the influx of tourists. Hallstatt’s mayor, Alexander Scheutz, has said he’d like to slash tourist numbers by a third. “It’s a catastrophe,” Verena Lobisser, who owns a local hotel, told the Washington Post. “Many visitors seriously think this is a theme park.”(independent.co.uk). I hope Hallstatt can keep up.

Wow! stunning the number of Asian tourists there. A little disturbing too I must say. I would say the same if it were Americans overrunning the place. Makes the place seem like Disney World. My experience with Chinese tourists is that they are pretty rude. They want a picture of themselves and their friends in front of everything people come to see like they were props. When I went to see the Mona Lisa in the Louvre you could never actually see it because there were people (Asians) in front of it snapping pictures. They tend to treat other people like they aren't even there if they want to get to someplace.

In high season Hallstatt sees 7000 tourists A DAY. That’s a lot for a village of 800 people, the signs on the garage doors say “no drones“ and “please be quite“ in multiple languages. I do feel sorry for the residents.

Why are all these people running around with umbrellas? Is it really so hot there? I live in Southwest Florida and ONLY USE AN UMBRELLA when it rains and believe me it is hot here a lot. Nice little town though! (Better without the invasion).
You can see that people who hold umbrellas are all asians .. it's part of their culture when it's sunny they cover their heads with umbrellas
