Thank you for posting this clip. To me this plane- The Curtis P-40 is the icon of all the great WWII warbirds. I've seen C-47s, B-17s, B-25s, B-29s, P-51s, F-4Us, P-39s, F-4F and F-6F Wildcat and Hellcats, TBM Avengers, A6M Zeros, Spitfires, Hurricanes, BF109s, and even the first jet fighter- the ME 262. The sound of the Pratt and Whitney, Rolls Royce Merlin, Daimler-Benz, and Nakajima engines is music to my old ears.
The P-40 is one the best performer on the airshow and it`s one the most iconic one along side with P-51 Mustang. The engine sound and rumble of this airplane is really music to our ears. Thanks for dropping by.
Music & announcing ruined this otherwise great video. P-40s are my #3 favorite of WWII. A kickass workhorse of an aircraft that doesn't get much respect as it should.
