Thank you for watching, I'll see you in the next one.
Easy to learn with your instructions. Thank You!
I did your 70 stitch chain on 5 works and had people saying it was too snug so I increased by 14 more stitches. Now I can wear it without feeling like I'm choking...too snug. I thank you for this pattern tho. I really like it and the ladies I have given my first ones to really like them. One lady uses the cowl down around her shoulders as a cape... She's a skier and loves the extra warmth ..thanks again.
That's awesome 👍
I had that problem too, but fixed it by using foundation single crochet instead of a chain.
What was the increase on 84 was it still the 8th stitch ?
I just love this pattern, as a person who’s always cold this will definitely keep me warm. I’m going to make both styles. Thank you for creating the perfect hat for me!❤❤❤❤❤
I especially appreciate that you showed at the end how to exactly put it on. I'd watched other videos from other creators who made turtleneck hoodies, but left out an explanation of how to exactly wear them!! Thank YOU!
This is so pretty done in white. Thanks.
This is the most beautiful hoodie ever! Such an easy to follow tutorial. Thanks so much or sharing :)
This was an absolutely great tutorial. I just finished mine and it looks amazing. Thank you so much for this. Very easy to follow.😊
Thank for sharing this easy to crochet tutorial. Because of you I have made me 3 . Out of all the tutorial yours is the best by far 👍🏾
Thank you 💕
Thank you for keeping filming close to work and well lighted. Thank you for this tutorial.❤️
Just want to thank you very much for sharing your skills. You instruct very well. You are making it look so easy to follow. I am definitely going to try this.
Thank you for this tutorial! I’m new to crochet, only started 2 months ago and I just made this using another video. Mine came out giant for some reason lol. It looks like I threw a blanket on my head lol!! She didn’t give any measurements only rows, and even that was confusing bc she barely spoke. I’m proud of myself for even making an actual piece besides mittens or ear warmers but man it’s giant!! I’m going to unravel it all and try again I think. But first I’m going to take pictures outside in the snow we’re getting just to laugh at myself. I knew it was looking really big but trusted the process lol. I put it on and was in tears laughing so hard at myself. It’s all part of the learning process lol I will def be trying YOUR tutorial and hopefully getting it right
Trial and error is a great teacher some time 🤭. Make sure you are using the correct size hook and yarn, if not pay attention to the measurements and you'll do fine 💕
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I am enjoying working on this!! 😊🙏🏼
I really love you tutorials they are so clear & easy to understand. thank you so so much!!!! I've showed everyone the 1st hoodie I made & they love it so much that they all want one so when they buy the yarn & color they want I will be happy to make 🙃🙂 so thank you again from New Zealand 💚 & you will be happy to know you now have another subscriber 🙂
Aww thank you. Much appreciated 💜💜
That’s cute I love that. Am going to try it
I just finished two matrix hoods for my kids. After many trials I finally got it right. My kids love them and they say they look so cool!!!. ❤ thank you for the tutorial.
I've made 3 of these already and just love them. So easy to follow!!! Thank you!! I'm making one for my 4 year old granddaughter so I'm cutting your pattern basically in half so hoping it will turn out lol
I love the look of this hoodie. It's pretty and practical for warmth.
Love this Google, is my first hope comes out as pretty as yours👍
Omg your video just pop while searching for scarfs. I love your video tutorials very easy to follow and I’m sure I’ll be making for my grand children and for myself as well 😘 I just subscribe and like every videos I started watching. Thank you again for this tutorial God Bless your kind heart and please continue to help us learn especially with the beginners like me😊😍 FROM GERMANY
Thank you 😊
I love your hoodie. Excellent instructions.
Really loved your instruction video ❤❤❤
I love doing the post double crotchet stitch. It's warm, durable, and complimentary to the project. I have started doing it at the ends of scarves this year. Some only 2 rows and some only one row.
this is awesome!! might have to make 2 as i have 2 sisters braving the cold walking everyday!! thx for the tutorial!😍
This is a beautiful turtle neck hoodie. I love how you make something that looks difficult, easy to crochet. I am making one for myself before I go to my chemotherapy so I can wear it when I get my treatment. I have an idea that would like to make this for children with cancer and donate it. Can you give how many chains to start with for different age group category? Most likely from ages 5-8 then 9-12, and 13-16. Thank you ❤
50 chains
60 chains
70 chains
@@DIYDanni thank you so much. God bless you 🙏🏼❤
Thank you for that idea. This is a lovely pattern and my friends mum is starting chemo in the new year. This will be just the job for her.

This is very beautiful my dia, I also wish to make this. Thanks
I really like the pattern ❤
Your crocheting fascinates me!!!❤
Great tutorial and a lovely crochet project. I will
definitely be making this. Thanks so much!
Thanks you for sharing this one and giving the measurements of each part. I’m working on your other one and was not completely sure if I was doing it right, but it is gorgeous.♥️
What is the difference between #1 & #2 ? You do an excellent job of showing this process.
The neck part and the hoodie part in #1 she uses a different stitch, in #2 she uses the same stitch
Love 💘 I can't wait to try this PATTERN.
Thank you so much Danni, I really really enjoyed watching you create this amazing and awesome piece. I’ve subscribed and given you a thumbs up too. Please stay safe and well too
Thank you, enjoy the holidays 💙
I just finished this beautiful project every one loved it 🥰
I really like the pattern. It was difficult to see when you were sewing it closed and the volume was low. Thank you for the tutorial. 😊
Looks cozy! Thanks for sharing!
I love this pattern. You do such a beautiful job. Thank you for posting this awesome project! ❤
Love the pattern 😊
Ich finde das sehr schön
I love this!! Making this for my granddaughters and daughter in law. Thank you for this beautiful and useful item.
The grey one is also a good one to try. It's easier too. 😌
P
I'm LOVING your patterns for these cowl hoodies. I do have a question though, I'm not loving the pointed back of the hood. Is there a way to soften that out? I'm new to crocheting.
Can you please tell me what the differences are in Turtle Neck Hoodie #1 and #2 are? I'm so grateful that this was suggested to me! I just want to know which one I should follow, as this is definitely my next project! Thank you!
One is done in a ribbed stitch and the other in a back loop double crochet
Is one lighter weight than the other ? Is the hood stiffer on the back post hood than it is on the ribbed hood?
@@lizwillis4676 yes this one is stiffer because of the stitch pattern but the yarn used is the same
I’m making on now and it’s coming out great🎉
Just for my better understanding. You did not put 2 DC in the last stitch of first row of hoodie. So you only increased 9, right?
Found the mistake, you do not dc in stitch, you dc between stitches. So you definatly only increase 9.
I love it and I enjoyed making it
I just started did the grey one took me for ever but it turned out good. Now I’m trying this one I think I like this one better This is all new to me How would you do it for kids mine want one
Thank you
Start with a chain long enough to fit around the child's head then adjust height of neck. Increase in 10 random points at 1st increase point then adjust height of the next 2 sections to fit child (adult is 14-15" high) child's maybe 10-12". You'll have to measure as you go along
@@DIYDanni thanks so much.
Learned to crochet at a younger age, very basic... now as I am MUCH OLDER I want to get back into it.. I have watched your videos for the hoodies like at least 40 times- I have started over so may times. Can you possibly do a much slower better explained video? I have been looking for one for this pattern because I am eager to create one! Please do a slower more detailed video soon for us beginners! Thank you!
Watch the previous hoodie video it's easier to follow I think (the grey hoodie video)
ruclips.net/video/L6yrv1LYGoo/видео.html
Yeah the one i have been watching is the gray one. Not slow enough or (at least for me) done in a teachable manner with explanation/ breakdown of stitching. I will keep looking... thank you for a reply, I love your work and will continue to watch you go!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
You can slow the playback speed of the videos if that helps. I know how on my phone but I've not done it on my laptop. It can generally be found in each video's settings shown either by a gear or three dots in my experience.
Súper hermoso y muy bien replicado 😍 bendiciones 🙏
Yay finally 1 in english and vocal.. it was difficult following the very first scoodie. I made 3 of these.. as gifts.. how much would you charge at a market for this?? BTW ty for clear voice. I. Goi g to subscribe have good day
I've seen them on Etsy for $65 and up. I think you have to price based on what you think is reasonable for your work and time.
Beautiful ❤

Is there a way to finish the top of the hat, so it doesn't end up with a point where you stitch it together? Thank you!
Can you tell me how to make this for a toddler
Very Good
When you switch from the neck to the hood section, you say to put one double crochet in each stitch around, with 2 in each 7th stitch, but you seem to actually be crocheting in the spaces between stitches. Am I seeing that right, or am I missing something?
I was wondering about that too...but it certainty looks nicer done in the space than in the stitch like other versions of the hooded cowls.
Just curious, but this looks almost exactly like the one from November. Is this pattern different?
I'm not sure if you'll see this or not, but, I used yarn that's too chunky and it's ruffling. I'm just starting my 3rd row, should I stop or do you think it will be ok? The yarn I grabbed is Bernat blanket super bulky.
Looks fabtastic am totally making this, will it work the same with caron simply soft?
I'm not sure but you can try
Which hoodie tutorial is more begginer friendly, this one or the first you made?
The first one, I think
@@DIYDanni Thank you!
Finding it hard to eep the fpdc and bpdc pattern lied up when encountering the increses every 7th stitch.
For the hoodie are you going in the stitch or the spaces sorry I was not sure
The stitches
Thank you very much.
Do you have a size for kids?
How can I make this one with chunkie yarn, I have yarn that calls for 8mm hook. Can you give ne some basic dimensions, please?
Neck is 8" tall
Hood is 14" tall
@@DIYDanni thank you

@@DIYDanni thank you very very much ❤️
Hi , i have a doubt when we making the hood part you mentioned in the video in round2 we do 1dch not two !! so if we starting round4 in the very first stich we put 1dch or 2dch ??? As you keep saying 2dch in first stich but you putting 1dch !! please tell which one isit .. thanks :)
It's just 1dc sorry for the confusion. Do as I do, not as I say 🤔 I guess lol
@@DIYDanni thanks for the reply
Love love love this 🥰
VERY NICE THANKYOU FOR TAKEING THE TIME TO SHARE WITH US;HAPPY COULD YOU ADD A SCARF TO THT I NEW YEAR WHY DID YOU ADD A SCARF TO THAT JUST SQYING YOU COULD HAVE DONE THAT VERY EASLY.COULD YOU ALSO ADD A SCARF TO THST PROBLY BE VERY EASY TO DOJUST SAYING,THAT IS VER NUCE
Is there anything different, other than yarn color, from the first one?
I see it in the hood
Yea the stitch in the hood is different on this one
different texture from yarn over vs yarn under.
Confused me a bit with the way the yarn over was used in some parts and yarn under for therest of the stitch...and yes it makes a big difference in the end result.
Buongiorno bellissimo il progetto vorrei realizzarlo non c’è un tutorial in italiano? Grazie
Wondering...do you sell them?
No I don't, sorry
Подскажите, как у нас называется этот головной убор? Хотелось бы связать
Thank you!
Muy hermoso 😍
Do you have a written pattern that can be printed out
No written pattern sorry, but it's not hard to follow the video and write it down. It's only a few steps
Is there anyway at all to get a written pattern of this? And thank you
Honestly I pretty much just winged it. It's only a few steps so it's easy to follow or you could watch and write down the instructions, it's very simple.
Bjr,
J aurais aimer avoir la traduction des explications car je ne parle aucune langues étrangères svp, merci beaucoup.
Murielle
❤️
Is there a written pattern available?
No I was just winging it but it's not complicated to follow the tutorial
Do you happen to have the written pattern as well?
No written pattern but the steps are easy to jot down if you watch the video
@@DIYDanni thank you so much ❤. I love the video and you are a fantastic teacher. 😃
So do I use the same hook sizes for the original for the smaller sizes also do I do the same amount of rows
If you are using the same size yarn then yes. For smaller size begin with less chains. Make a chain big enough to fit over the head
Thank you so much I made one for myself I want to make one for each of my 6 granddaughters and this will help
@@shirleydicken9896 To think of it, you could use a smaller hook and same pattern to make it smaller... It might only be slightly smaller though. You'd have to try and see
Tığ kaç no acaba zinciri kaç tane cevap verirseniz sevinirim çok güzel bende yapmak istiyorum
Starting chain is 70
Can you do this project on a loom?
I'm not sure 🤔
is there a way to attach this to a crotchet sweater?
Of course
@@DIYDanni do you know how?
@@ayomidesonoiki2453 you can either make both the sweater and the hood separately then attach or make the sweater then work the hood but pattern would need adjustments
Combien la chaînette
Ok, I see what you changed from the last video, so you didn’t do the same increase as you did from the last video, ok got it. Also, instead of half double, you carried the same pattern as the neck portion, double crochets. Ok, got it.
👍👍
@@DIYDanni is there a particular reason that you changed pattern from the first one you did?
@@bgtuck3201 just to give people options if they wanted to have a different look. 🤷🏾♀️
Warum kann man das nicht auf Deutsch bekommen
Did not show how you joined the turtleneck edges together and us newbees need to know.

Porque nos lo pasan en Castellano porque yo no se ingles

You lost me at front post DC repeat for the 18 inches
Can't hear you on this video either. Such a shame to want to subscribe but can't hear you.
Check your settings. Something is muted. The volume is fine.
Potresti tradurre in italiano altrimenti non ci capisco niente
Slow down. You need to give us a closer look.😒
This is youtube. Look top right corner of screen. You can control the speed of every video you watch.
Im not sure if someone else has ask this. But when starting the second row and saying follow the front and back stitches.when you come up to the point where you increase on the first row. Do you make one stitch front and the other one back. Or do you make them both the same stitche?
