I've actually never leveled a monk past 60ish, nor have I tried any other spec besides the healing one. Brb making a monk! This video really inspired me.

Nixxiom Machinima Stick with it man; hitting 90 (this was shortly before WoD happened) and summoning Xuen for the first time was one of the most empowering things I ever felt in WoW. Well, that and just using Fists of Fury to kill everything that looked at me funny.

Very fun video to watch dude. Thank you for the time and effort you put in to it. I leveled 1-100 as WW and VERY QUICKLY began getting stomped like a NARC at a biker rally in pvp. As I have 5 other 100s, I put him on the back burner. Now I use BM because he is a lot tougher - but I wish I had more faith in WW.
As already mentioned by many, you deserve more subcribers, my man.
This is the first video that I JUST saw from you and I already like you, you've motivated me to continue playing my monk and I will try to motivate you by telling you to keep going and editing and creating videos because if you keep going like that you sure as hell will attract many, many viewers and subscribers and become rich. I LOVE the dragon kick thing. I started leveling a monk human and I didn't have a mount for ages. That kick really helped get me around, rolls really help as well.
I just found this channel and I was already ready to subscribe. Then I got to 5:48, I just so happened to have finished this episode of One Piece for the first time like an hour ago. So yeah, I'm subscribed now. And I might go level my Monk for a bit.

Ok, I've waited a long time to say this: Tauren monks look silly.
As someone who mains a monk, albeit on an RP realm, this video really speaks to me. We're such an under-appreciated class.
another reason why to play a monk ( MW) is because the style is way different. Unlike other healing class where you press just a button to heal, you can move and heal, channel heal, or even fistweave. Other thing is that NOT every one knows how to play the class, so if you know how to play, it WILLL show weather you are a windwalker , brewmaster or mistweaver, you will know that you are doing a good job! Have fun!

Sold! Have not played WoW since ...Lich king but after some persuasion from work colleagues, claiming its the best expansion since the Burning Crusade have decided to give it another try via the free trial. Looks like a lot has changed with new races and classes, crafting being useless as well (?), enjoyed the mining/tailoring combination for my warlock all those years ago. Looking forward to giving it a try, thanks for the vid.
It is because of this video and I am loving playing as a Troll monk. Re looking at this vid allows me to see how to better play the monk class, especially the windwalker

You kind of mentioned this, but only for windwalker spec. My friend and I are both leveling monks right now, we've just hit 92 respectively, and my favorite thing about playing Mistweaver is that I can dps! I can swap stances to get Jab, Rising Sun Kick, Blackout Kick etc! So much fun ^_^

Zen pilgrimage... Best ability in game. Tp to main city and back. Basically able to lock two spots at once.
Being able to go and sell and repair, and then go back right where you want.
Heirloom users don't have shit on the daily quest. But having heirlooms being well rested and having the daily gives you almost 5 times the xp on creatures. Feels good

Play speed, many classes like feral druid (!50%+ downtime!) and arms warriors in particular have just been slowed down so much. Monk maintained most of its momentum and remains a fairly quick spec with very little downtime and for the most part you will always have something useful to push when your primary abilities are on cool down.
Haha love it. Should of covered Touch of Death as well, though.
You even showed dragon ball in your video but no Kamehamehaaa! (chiburst) xD I recently started a monk on dmg skill and i love the chiburst xD
SO right now I have an undead monk and I'm thinking of changing. Should I roll him a human (male) monk, or a blood elf monk? (my characters are mostly horde except 1)

+Big Matty How do you feel about the changes Blizzard is planning for monks? I think they are changing too much stuff that makes monks... monks :D For example IMO Mistweaver monks have lost their "weaving" via soothing mist which set them apart from other healers :/

I have monk but it isn't so easy to master it but if you succeed you will be great
There is a tank that has Keg smash deals a ton of damge and slowing the enemy by 70% and gives 2 chi and the there is Guard/Absorbs
its because of this video that i rolled a pandaren monk when i first started WoW this same year :D
monk is the best class, and don't let anyone tell you differently (a lot of people will) :D

This video made me start a mistweaver monk last night.
u could get a glyph that gives u the ability to float on a cloud that goes normal movement speed I think and its instant cast.

My Monk "Brewsslee" was my main in MoP, I loved it so much :D. I'm a PvPer, that said I really don't like the nerfs they did to meh! : / We were on par with DRUIDS for speed! Now in Warsong Gulch or other such capture the flag matches we can't even roll with the flag anymore or flying serpent kick D: Druids can Dash, Stampede, Displacer Beast, Shapeshift for unslowable Godness! Just dissapointed that they had to do us like that mayne :(

I just started rolling a monk yesterday after losing some 2's against a MW monk and a Boomy.
you are coloured red and transparent in some of the clips.... is this a monk buff or temporary state?
It is a ability called storm, earth and fire it clones and attacks your main target while decreasing your attack by 30% and the clone mirroring some of your abilities
what about that daily 2 hour exp bonus for leveling?
