空海が修行したと伝わる霊山 若杉山を臨む篠栗町。古よりスピリチュアルな精神世界と緑ゆたかな自然を育み独特な雰囲気を醸す地である。その地の様々な音をフィールドレコーディングし音楽家 SHUHEI NISHIMURAがコンダクトしたアンビエント(環境)音楽が篠栗へ誘う。
ー HIROKI KIRYU｜桐生弘貴 ー

福岡県福岡市から東に12kmのところに位置する篠栗町。唐から帰国した弘法大師空海が若杉山(奥の院)に訪れ加持祈祷によって人々を救済した地。その空海を拝する篠栗四国八十八ヶ所霊場 総本山「南蔵院」の水の音と篠栗四国霊場発願の場所である「不動の滝」の音からはじまる「Transience」は2019年の春、桐生さんから篠栗の音を紡いでほしいとのお話を頂いたことを機に、春・夏・秋・冬と篠栗の様々な場所の四季の音をField recordingした中の春と夏の音を使用して紡いだ作品です。ゆっくりと移ろいでゆくこの音が、日々の暮らしに寄り添い、明かりを灯す存在であることを願います。

Sasaguri Town is located 12 km east of Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. This is the place where Kobo-Daishi Kukai, who returned from Tang Dynasty China, visited Wakasugi Mountain (Okuno-in) and saved people by praying for blessings. Transience," which begins with the sound of water at Nanzoin, the head temple of the 88 sacred sites of the Sasaguri Shikoku Sacred Sites, where Kukai is worshipped, and the sound of Fudo Falls, the place of initiation of the Sasaguri Shikoku Sacred Sites, was created in spring 2019 when Mr. Kiryu asked us to spin sounds from Sasaguri, and we have been working on the sounds of various places in Sasaguri during spring, summer, autumn, and winter. This work was spun using the sounds of spring and summer from field recordings of the sounds of the four seasons in Sasaguri. I hope that these sounds, which change slowly, will accompany and light up our daily lives.
