ギターを中心に、フィールドレコーディングした音や様々な楽器を多重録音にて丁寧に重ね合わせていく演奏表現で、美容室やギャラリー等でのBGM演奏会や映像・展示会・宿泊施設などの空間音デザイン、フィールドレコーディングのワークショップ等福岡を拠点に空間や誰かの日々に寄り添う音を紡いでいる。Record Label / Ruhélements主宰。
Musician. Mainly using the guitar, he carefully layers field recorded sounds and various instruments through multi-track recording. Based in Fukuoka, he creates sounds that fit into spaces and people's daily lives through activities such as background music concerts for beauty salons and galleries, spatial sound design for films, exhibitions and accommodation facilities, and field recording workshops. He is the founder of Record Label / Ruhélements.

2023.07.22 saturday Fieldrecording Workshop ｢Soundscape for HAKOZAKI｣ SHUHEI NISHIMURA presents ＜ワークショップ内容＞ 2023年の夏、箱崎の町を散策し、鳥の声や木々が揺れる音などの自然音や普段は無意識に聞いていた音を拾い集めながら改めて「箱崎の音」意識をしていくワークショップを開催しました。 JR箱崎駅からレコーダーを持って箱崎を歩き、それぞれが好きな場所で好きな音を録音しました。散策ルートは箱崎駅→筥崎宮→箱崎漁港→汐井公園です。 散策終了後、箱崎の小さなカフェ｢長閑｣へ移動してお酒などのドリンクをお供に皆さんが拾い集めた箱崎の音を聴きながらお話ししました。 参加者の皆さんの録音データをお預かりし、音楽家 SHUHEI NISHIMURAがそのデータを使用した参加者それぞれ曲を収録した...

昨年初冬に三重県・熊野古道伊勢路(馬越峠)の石畳に自生している苔の生体電位を音に変換して録音したものです。 こちらも前回同様、今年2月に名古屋の栄に開業した「ザ ロイヤルパークホテル アイコニック 名古屋」のご宿泊者専用サウナルームの為に紡いだ曲などで、この音から作り出した音色を使用しています。 私は音となるお手伝いをしただけで、奏でているのは植物自身。苔らしいとは人間の勝手なイメージではありますが、余韻を感じる苔の鼓動。悠久の時に想いを馳せてみて下さい。 Like the bamboo sound I posted previously, this was recorded in early winter last year by converting the bioelectric potential of moss growing naturally on the cobble...
