Recording the Electrical signals of Bamboo.

この音は昨年初冬に三重県・熊野古道伊勢路の音を拾い集める旅をした際、竹の生体電位を音に変換したものを録音した音です。
今年2月に名古屋の栄に開業した「ザ ロイヤルパークホテル アイコニック 名古屋」の為に紡いだ曲の中のひとつは、この音から作り出した音色を使用しています。
早朝、漆黒の闇の中で力強く呼吸する竹の音に感動したことを今でも想い出します。
This sound is a recording of the Electrical signals of bamboo converted into sound during a trip to collect sounds along the Kumano Kodo Ise Road in Mie Prefecture in early winter of last year.
One of the pieces I spun for "THE ROYAL PARK HOTEL ICONIC NAGOYA," which opened this February in Sakae, Nagoya, uses tones created from these sounds.
I still recall being moved by the sound of bamboo breathing strongly in the jet-black darkness early in the morning.
