It’s been 4 months no without a period. I’m only 49. I did not expect to go into menopause this early and it’s like I went from being fit and active to having a belly and being super uncomfortable in my body and body aches and sleeplessness anxiety loss all of it overnight. 😭😭😭😭😭
Love this!! Honey NOBODY tells a story like Tab! Everything about her personality makes me smile. She's truly a breath of fresh air to social media & all things she's a part of
I was diagnosed with perimenopause at age 30, i was told I would need to go on a hormone replacement called Lupron. Not much was detailed, just the fact that medication at the time would be $900 per visit. I refused, because, I didnt fully understand what that meant because of the hefty expense and there were no clear details, labs or consultation given at the time. I was concerned, because I wanted more children, and was told in order for that to happen I would need IVF, having endometriosis and able to have my son, after a miscarriage and after his birth, i was still hopeful. I went through an excruciating procedure for salpingitis. I gave up the venture to get pregnant. I was told by my endocrinologist my weight was a factor and if i dint lose weight I would have difficulties with getting pregnant. I never went back to that doctor because she constantly belittled me about my weight. Im 51 now, and wished i knew then what i know now. Especially as a woman of color. There are so many more details to my story, it baffles me every time i think about it.

Ladies, as you enter your 30s and beyond, it's important to recognize that hormonal imbalance can become a concern. This imbalance is not just related to age; it is influenced by stress, environmental factors, and chemicals (like xenoestrogens, pesticides, and parabens), as well as lifestyle choices. All of these factors can contribute to estrogen dominance, leading to various female-related health issues. ### What Can Help: 1. A plant-based diet rich in fruits, grains, nuts, seeds, legumes, and vegetables 2. Vitamin D3 3. DHEA 4. Wild Yam Cream 5. Non-GMO soybeans 6. Flaxseeds 7. Complete B vitamins 8. Vitamin C 9. Regular exercise 10. Herbal remedies 11. Aim to sleep by 10 PM 12. Manage or eliminate stress 13. Laugh often and practice gratitude 14. Ensure you get enough rest 15. Pray and trust in God 16. Breathe fresh air and practice breathing exercises 17. Spend time in sunlight 18. Strive for a balanced life 19. Forgive others and extend grace For more support, visit @sheiswhole.org. ---
I Love you , How you address everything head on because, Someone’s daughter is listening and, these talks help strengthen her in her walks through life. I told my son earlier on about life, Why because, I didn’t want anyone doing my job as a mom. So, Thank you, for shining your light through this Crazy World. We need more like you. To God be the Glory. 😊
God really gave Tabitha Brown a platform just to be a regular person to help us all. Like her entire brand is just about being relatable and creating products for the average person. Love her!
Good conversation! The very best thing I did for being post menopause was limiting sweets to 1-2 times per week, eating more fruits and vegetables daily and fasting most days at dinner time.
5 years ago I began to have a cycle non stop for several weeks off and on. Finally having an ablation. It stopped for 2 years and came back very light. All the while I’m having these other perimenopause symptoms not knowing that’s what I’m having. After which I stopped for 18 months and it came back again, but this time with extreme hot flashes. I’m usually cold but now I go from cold to hot waking me up out of my sleep. What a nightmare. On top of that, I just lost my 14-year-old daughter so I’m going through stress and depression, along with going through menopause now. I don’t know what’s happening.
So sorry to hear about your daughter, I just said a prayer for you. Your Dr. should be able to tell u for sure if you're in perimenopause, or hopefully at the end of it.
