I like how it's mixed. The wider top in my eyes makes it more of a utility Saber and the matte black at the business end makes it seem brutal! Well done!
Thank you, i really just got luck with the parts.
i think the saber looks really cool and has a unique design. looks pretty cool👍🏽
Yeah, the emitter is reminiscent of Obi-Wan's in Ep1 but it's also unique.
Exile is solid! Nice job bringing it to life!! Great video! Love Saber Sunday!!
Thanks, you are again kinder than I think I deserve.
I love how the silver, black and green color almost battle each other. I also love the red screws it the black part of the hilt, they really pop!
Thanks, I really like how it turned out too!
I really think that lightsaber looks good! It's a bit mixed and matched which really gives it the scratch 'n dent style. Can't wait to see more!
Thanks, I have at least 3 more. I'm going to order a couple of parts to finish out a saber or 2.
Always nice to build your own lightsaber. Good job!
Appreciate it, thanks for watching!
Like it with the color division on the hilt
Me too, I did it out of necessity but it has grown on me. Thanks for watching!
The hilt with the black and chrome looks soooo good
I like it too, thanks for watching!
Another good video bro. Not too bad for another scratch and dent saber. It’s mint that although the colours aren’t like the original you have still managed to get the whole saber. Nice saber overall. Before when u used to mention about the blade plugs as giveaways I used to be like I don’t need those but now that I have a sabers I can actually do with them lol
That's neat. I am collecting some scratch and dent parts myself to give it a go.
It's awesome but it can also be frustrating. Let me how it goes.
@@themeparkdna683 Will do. I'm going to practice some weathering on a couple of older hilts too.
Nice. SnD parts are good for that too.
Damn I love quinlan vos and this saber!! Would be honoured to have this as my 1st saber.
He's an interesting character for sure! I wonder if he didn't have the rare talent to sense memories of things he touched and to track so well if the council would have tolerated his rebellious nature as much.
thats really cool! keep up the good work!
Many thanks!
I love the lines on Quinlan Voss’s lightsaber, but would definitely refinish the emitter And upper section with a Dualtone to show off those lines. Not sure if I would blue the background or the foreground; I prefer a contrast to make those lines pop throughout the saber even if my lower grip is a single color and texture.
I think weathering the shroud but not weathering under the shroud might add an interesting contrast. It would be somewhat realistic as the shroud would most likely take more abuse.
I think the lightsaber looks unique in the best way it can. The lightsaber would look good in green in my a pinion.
That would be interesting. They should make more green greeblies and thumb screws.
I know right!
It looks amazing, giving me a maul/ young obi wan vibe
I agree, the emitters from Obi-Wan's Ep I sabers has always looked a lot like Vos' emitter.
That's neat. I like the contrast between the black anodizing and chrome. Looks uncanny, but cool!
I'm entering this giveaway. mtfbwya!
Absolutely! Every comment that a subscriber makes on any giveaway video counts as an entry, good luck!
Neopixel and either a Proffie or GH board and it'll be an even better saber. I do love the more "basic" design of it.
Yeah it would. Any of those 3 things automatically makes a saber better.
Pretty cool! Hope i win a saber!
Thanks for watching, good luck to you!
very nice
Thanks, good luck!
Nice hilt!
Thanks for watching!
Kinda wanna see a black pommel on it 🤔
Me too, I didn't have one that matches.
It's cool..I like it..but I'm still stuck, determined and hoping to soon have a ventress lightsaber..I love the hilt and its just badass
I like the determination. It's a very cool saber. The ones i got from the Disney parks were affordable but a bit chunky. Still cool. Couldn't help but sell them when the price went through the roof. I did a review on them though. Too bad LGT doesn't make a Ventress saber.
@@themeparkdna683 I know. Thank you. I will get one eventually..it sucks living check to check..but sometime...it will happen. I don't give up easily..I'm a very determined person. And ventress is one the best characters..I love her story and arc...have you read dark disciple?? Very good book..I listen to it on audio at work..this is about the 3rd time so far..but like I said..good book..honestly, I'd love to have any saber...especially a neopixel..but I'm hoping for a ventress one.
I haven't read it yet. Looks good. I'm thinking of joining audible. I like listening to audio books.
Me too..I listen to them at work..that's one good thing about working in a factory
Nice, I drive a lot and like to listen to books instead of the radio
I don’t know why, but this one kinda gives me starkiller vibes, I probably just played way too much Force Unleashed
I can see that. I really liked those games. Starkiller seemed a little overpowered so they had to make the enemies harder, but they were a lot of fun to play.
Not my cup of tea for the hilt design but fun nonetheless.
I agree, this came about only because I had parts to build it.
I'm surprised the color scheme works still!
Yeah, the light and dark halves has a different vibe to it. Thanks for watching!
Idk. I feel like it contrasts too much and the cut off between the top and bottom makes it look like you just put two pieces together. But each to their own my friend.
I like it, but I really did it because that's the parts I had. I can see your point. Thanks for watching!
How does that flat pomel feel ive never seen one before lol, then again i just got my first saber today!
It's good. I thought because the pommel is a little wider that it would act as a hand stop but it doesn't really.
Would you say it is feasible to buy Scratch and dent to buy a saber, or will you need to buy multiple Scratch and Dent boxes to buy one full saber?
Yes and no. You definitely get enough parts that you COULD put a saber together but it isn't always cohesive even if you do get all the necessary parts. I'm my experience it could take 2 or 3 SnD orders to get what you want to make a saber that looks like it goes together. You might get a matte silver emitter, a weathered switch section, a black body, and no pommels. You never know.
