It's insane how hard you have to work and the hours are deadly but the passion you can share with the customers, the smiles you can bring and the deliciousness you taste on a daily basis must be worth destroying your body every night
tks for the inspiration. I am also a bartender who loves the adrenaline rush in the rush hour. Just that we don't have too many customers these days and too much stress from the boss, too much restrictions on what we can do, nitpicking in some unrelated business like what music we can play in the bar, etc. Btw, I know you guys are professionals but seeing a clean bar is so satisfying and the simple, effective communication in the team is just beautiful. I also make 'Toot toot' sound while gently tapping my co-worker but a lot of people don't do it.
The professional courtesy they have with each other is my favorite thing. This is how I speak to my colleagues and it does wonders for team cohesion and the guest experience. I was regarded by many to be one of the best bartenders in my city, and people would turn down sitting at a table immediately in favor of waiting up to 90 mins to sit at my bar, and I think the way I spoke to my coworkers was a substantive part of that. Of course they like good drinks, and watching the precision, speed, attention to detail, and ability to multitask, but seeing someone so busy take the time to be so polite is one of those things you just love to see.
I love the way the bars are set up for you guys. I’ve heard that in England and Europe these are the normal setups. Our bars in America are so inefficient in my opinion
not all bars are like this here, depends where you go really either a restaurant or a pub or just a bar. I don't know what american bars are like but i definitely feel as if they aren't too different
@@matthegreat9765I've lived in both countries. The bar setups are generally not so different, I'm not sure what they're on about. Like you said it really depends on what type of a place it is, and even then the setup can change drastically from place to place. Which is true for every other country I've lived in or visited as well.
This is so inspiring. This is my dream job. I've been a therapist for 7 years. And I discovered bartending by accident and it has turned into one of the best adventures. I officially got a shot at a Country Club and I'm learning. This place is teaching me things. And I eventually want to be in a high-rise hotel as a master bartender with a channel and be able to film while working like this. I also want to own a bar in Florida and every. One of your bartenders has had some sort of background in licensed therapy. But I value this video right here. I wanna be like this. I've definitely feel called to be a master bartender.
Extremely talented and focused ❤ they know each detail about their place and keeping there place well cleaned and organised wow so soothing havinh fun to see their work learning from them❤thankyou
Im curious how they are ringing in all of these peoples orders. Unless I'm blind, I don't see them using a computer to track who is drinking what and eating what.
As a craft cocktail bartender that works at a high-end and incredibly high volume hotel, this is my life. I love it and hate it. But mostly I love it. And the pay.. $1200 in a single night bartending for a large corporate sales group recently. This is in the U.S, midwest area. This trade can be so incredibly lucrative in the right place. Love the footage guys. Cheers
Hey mate, would you mind describing it a little more? I currently do de same thing, just in my home country, and I was just recently thinking about going abroad. I would love to hear some details, like how much prep you do a day, are you the one who comes up with the some of the cocktails/menu,how many days/hours a week you work, what kind of bar is it, was it hard to get the job etc. cheers man💓
@@rudolfszam7099 Sorry for the long delayed reply mate. I meant to get back to you and, well, was busy slinging drinks! Prep work is fairly simple for us, we're focused mostly on classics but the sheer volume is so high that we can't even be bothered to press our own juices. Usually showing up 1-1 ½ hours early to make syrups, unload the liquor order, fruits/garnishes, ice, polishing, the usual really. Bartenders in the states make faaar more than those aboard to my knowledge. Whereas we are paid only $3.50/hour, all of our money comes from tips. Which generally speaking, is roughly 22% of the total bill. When you're dealing with expensive cocktails and highly expensive scotch pours, the total can add up quick. So on a total bill of about $300, which can happen pretty easily, I'll expect to make $60 off that table. Due to the nature of Hotels, and being one of the more prestigious hotels in the city, we get a ton of corporate events, wedding crowds, etc that come piling in. Any wedding, party, event going on in the hotel is autogratted 22%. Meaning our tip is already counted in the total on the bill. And very often, guests will not realize this and tip on top of that, often netting us a 42%(+) tip on each bill.
@@rudolfszam7099 I work alongside a few other bartenders to work on the menu, usually entailing 1 or 2 new monthly featured cocktails. I'll average anywhere from 30-40hours a week and take home roughly $1300-$2,000 a week after taxes are taken out. Honestly, there's some luck of the draw when it comes to securing positions like this. Make no mistake, the better you are at your craft, the better money you'll generally make, as you can go just about anywhere. But there was some luck, and some schmoozing to get in. Highly suggest if you do this, get into Hotels. Prominent Hotels that see many guests. The benefits are great as well. Cheers.
I wish GoPros were around when I worked in a bar. It was 5 deep at the bar, and I would have 4 pints filling (resting on upside down shot glasses) while I was opening bottles or filling shots, then I'd top off the pints while taking the next 2 or 3 orders. So much fun.
I worked as a bartender for a fine dining restaurant as my first bartending role but they didn't bother to train me up and I got a harsh firing lol and now looking at bar roles just pisses me off. But this POV is amazing and especially with the fancy tricks
Best thing about bartending is , You don't have pressure, of course you do if it's your first week , for some it's first month but you'll love your job. You create your own unique recipe when you're skillful in mixing. You can either work sober or after downing your first pint. It's a fun work to be . ❤
Great work! It's only 28 min but I have anxiety watching the rush haha and I'm not even working. I give credit to yall bc I would have quit 🤣 great vid! Excellent work!
Cocktail making is so fun, rewarding but stressful. Loved to work here + have a great team like this... Quick question, do you place down a napkin like in the US ? You are also very kind to your staff, making sure they're alright + being polite yet firm with them
I love what these guys do!!! I will say that I can see how busy this bar is however I noticed how drinks can be expedited quicker! When you have a shaken cocktail and a stirred cocktail on the same menu, you can cook your stirred cocktail on ice first and leave it on ice while you build your shaken cocktails. The stirred cocktails will be close to finished by the time your shaken cocktail is ready. Or you can shake and stir at the same time if you have the skill! Just a suggestion :)
I like how people who spend more money on their food seem to care less about the cook touching it. In the fast food and small kitchens I have worked customers would go through the roof if I would have dropped a measuring spoon in their drink and had to fish it out with my hand. Yet this guy can do it right in front of the lady and get away with it.
Amazing content! As others have mentioned a server/waiter POV would be awesome. Although I could see it being a bit odd for the customers and therefore not as feasible.
I work as a barista and when someone rings all the customers while I make drinks, I feel like it's the best job ever! I feel like the coffee machine is an extension of me But when I spend 40% of the time running from the register to the bar and back all the time, it is a nightmare job: tiring and routine

tks for the inspiration.
Could you guys also do a video on the bar itself? Cocktail stations/cooling etc. Would love it!
I run a restaurant here in Oregon. I feel the tension. Exciting yet keeping your composure is the most important.
That bar station is godly. So functional and clean.
dang memorizing all those drinks must have taken some work, you guys are crazy good at your job! It was very entertaining to watch as well.
11:01 for people wondering what kind of bottle it is: it's a Brut R de Ruinart - price per bottle last time i checked 70 Euro's at a liquor store.
Bartender spilling juices into the ice well is pretty comical at 17:20.
It's a pleasure to watch this, love everything, especially the atmosphere and technique, would love to visit someday!
Thank you guys!
This man just rizzed me up through the screen with his bartending skills
farget
Looks super stressful and busy work 😂 props to you being able to do this!
Extremely talented and focused ❤ they know each detail about their place and keeping there place well cleaned and organised wow so soothing havinh fun to see their work learning from them❤thankyou
Im curious how they are ringing in all of these peoples orders. Unless I'm blind, I don't see them using a computer to track who is drinking what and eating what.
i work at a high end cocktail bar, these guys are absolutely amazing. i wish i could be half as efficient as them
As a craft cocktail bartender that works at a high-end and incredibly high volume hotel, this is my life.
But this POV is amazing and especially with the fancy tricks
bruh
Watched this video last night and it made me a better bartender today.
can we get more POV plsss i love it no edit just pure pov ;-;
Best thing about bartending is , You don't have pressure, of course you do if it's your first week , for some it's first month but you'll love your job. You create your own unique recipe when you're skillful in mixing. You can either work sober or after downing your first pint. It's a fun work to be . ❤
Can you guys please do one more of these, these are so extremely entertaining to watch!
I enjoy the sounds of those glass bottles not sure why but it's very pleasing almost like wind chimes
10:51
Finally, the correct way of opening a bottle of champagne!
They both have such unique styles and finesse I admire the work yall put into it!
17:10 the sound of the bottle being opened😂
ang galang nmn ng lead bartender na to tsaka he remains calm under pressure, i like his professionalism👍👍 i learn from him..
Great work! It's only 28 min but I have anxiety watching the rush haha and I'm not even working. I give credit to yall bc I would have quit 🤣 great vid! Excellent work!
Quick moving fast hands like magic
When you’re procrastinating by watching other people working 😂
A place for everything and everything in its place. Love a well-prepped bar well!
Love how punctual they are about putting things back
This was the most fun video I’ve ever watched my entire life
Cocktail making is so fun, rewarding but stressful.
Nice work and good technique. I have a question, what kind of equipment do you use for your pov shots/ recording. Cause it looks awesome, bruv.
Looks to be just a typical GoPro.
We need MORE of these videos!!
I just use my hands to scoop the ice as a power move
See everything he touch with his hands, doors, bottle, people, and whetever he can, then he tuch the things that goes into your drink. Nice job
Amazing content! As others have mentioned a server/waiter POV would be awesome. Although I could see it being a bit odd for the customers and therefore not as feasible.
Love it. Great vid showing the hard work and energy it takes to run an operation.
I work as a barista and when someone rings all the customers while I make drinks, I feel like it's the best job ever! I feel like the coffee machine is an extension of me
But when I spend 40% of the time running from the register to the bar and back all the time, it is a nightmare job: tiring and routine
batched cocktails behind a bar are lifesavers i love it
Respect to anybody who can do this for a living. I'd lose my mind with all the people. Fascinating to watch this by the way.
This is great! I would love to see a Waiters POV vid, they are often an overlooked part of a restaurant!
I love how everyone seems to be having a great time even the folks working.
Markus is too smooth with it
This was actually really helpful for my writing! I'm writing a bar scene and this was exactly what I needed.
I think I’m gonna get a body cam and do a 30 minute segment during the rush at my bar. Thanks for the inspiration🤙
Did you ever do it?
These guys are so polite for being in a high-end, high pressure restaurant setting.
