I'd love to see a 13m snake wrap itself around a 19m shark enough times to get itself in a position to squeeze well enough. I'm guessing the 60-foot Meg was 30-foot around in circumference so the Titanaboa would only be able to wrap it once! Snakes need to be able to get a better grip to torque down enough to suffocate their pray, especially a beast like the Meg!

Megalodon would still not be the top predator in today's oceans. That title would still go to the Orcas (Killer Whales). Orcas swim in packs and are several times more intelligent and strategic than sharks. One on one, an Orca might lose to a prehistoric Megalodon shark, but not if a pack works together. Orcas are brilliant creatures and act alot like wolves with their clever tactics and strategies.

if megladon was still alive, it would have evolved to look less like a great white and more like a slimmer, cold water shark probably. Scientists have actually found a fossilized tooth of a Megladon that was 14 thousand years old. If you thought you saw something that you thought looked like a megladon, it was probably a great white shark with gigantism , it's a condition only a few animals of one species would have, it's were they would probably grow 2x or 3x times bigger then the average animal of that species.

The main problem here, with the terrestrial animals, you would have to also presume that others animals of the same time period also survived. In this case, with T-rex, none of the mammals would have evolved as they did since their evolution was based on the extinction of the dinosaurs. It is highly unlikely humans would have evolved - hence, we wouldn't be here to worry about it. Now if they suddenly popped up, like Jurassic Park, they would not survive unless they were small and were confined into small areas, otherwise, lack of a proper place to live with food, or hunted to extinction, they wouldn't be around for long

No T-Rex. NO Titanaboa. NO Meg NO Mesasauras. However, the prehistoric bird living in Australia is doing ok, they are seeding the forests, that without them it would be impossible. Forgot what the bird is called, but it is a quite dangerous bird. 🤔

    Theory:
People think the megalodon went to the deepest part of the ocean and survived the volcano Or whatever happened to make the dinosaurs go extinct
    Question:
How did they find out that the megalodon didn’t like cold waters and how do the sea levels all the way to the bottom stop animals from dying

While I’m doubtful a lot of animals back then could probably survive in today’s climate. I also believe something could have. You see it everyday horseshoe crabs were around at the time of the dinosaurs, as were jelly fish (650 million years apparently), the trilobites (I think that’s what they’re called), crocodiles, alligators. Plus add into that, that we’ve only mapped a small portion of the world’s ocean and there still like 96% still left unexplored. I don’t think the megalodon or mososaur survived the extinction event. All I’m saying that with all the creatures that are still alive from that time period, there’s probably a lot more animals than we know that we’re alive back there that have still yet to be discovered. The truth is who knows, new species are found every day and while humans like to know everything about everything, there’s still a lot out there that we don’t know.
