I wish the 5.0 was full interior it would have real close , the shifts always kill the Supras

Love both cars… those 5.0 coyotes are no joke when boosted! Amazing that the stock motor can hold up with that big supercharger. I think it shows how well-built they are.

Both are great looking and great running cars. Both winners and I'm strictly a Ford guy.

800whp on the mustang 2.9 whipple SC engine with stock internals rods pistons etc?! OMG, that sounds crazy and may not live long!
It'll live for a while. Once you get into 900whp territory on a sbe coyote is where you'll see it let go. Mine lived happily at 700 and 800whp @ 170k miles. I got greedy and went for 900whp and about 10 pulls later it shot a wristpin out the block lol.

Good race with two cars having similar power but different build types. I think the Supra with a tire and a faster shifting driver will yield much closer results. Maybe move up a map to compensate for the weight.

Damn I was really expecting that Supra to take him up top like they usually do but that Mustang was stronger. I think weight played a bigger role here too, mustang with weight reduction and supra with added weight. I think if they both had stock weights it might be an even race with the Supra pulling up top

It is fully built but I stated in the video that it is on a lower map to be a fair race. The GT ended up being a little too much for it as is. If the supra turns it up and puts on MT tires, it be a different story. But it is what it is
