В 2015 жили в отеле Центара на пляже Май Кхао целых 23 дня.Ежедневно ходили сюда.Столько видео классных.Аквапарком бесплатно пользовались все жители отеля.Один минус-далеко от развлечений,ну на самом краю острова.На такси иинут 30 за две тысячи батт.До обеда самолеты каждые 10-15 минут садятся,а потом как то пореже.Кстати отель в трех минутах ходьбы,а шум самолетов не мешает абсолютно.

I'm not sure. But I think it might be because of the high demand on this route. Thai Airways has around 10 flights a day on this Bangkok-Phuket route. And they use all big aircrafts like A330, B777, B747. Sometimes B787 and A350. Some days they even put up to 2-3 B747 flights a day especially during high season in Phuket. Thai AirAsia is a low-cost carrier who has up to 17 flights a day on this route. But they use small aircraft which is A320.
Some airlines especially international Airlines fly to Bangkok and then depart from Bangkok to Phuket with both new and old batch of passengers. This is why you see flights like Ethiopia-Phuket even thou the flight made a stop at bangkok first.
Because they need the seats. One day after Songkran, the busiest day of the year, I took the same (checked the registration: HS-TGF) B747 from Chiang Mai to Bangkok and then to Munich.
It seems they are several spotters there. At 3:43 my god its a Russian Arilines flying here, even they know about the sun, sea and sex here! LOL! They dont have a warm sea and good beach like that in Russia. They all look white and pale like a chicken without feather! Haha!

Lately they have put a higher fence so people now cannot enjoy watching the runway from ground level like before.. (SAD)
Same at Sydney Airport here they put an electric High fence so we can go near to film/spotting ! We may get electric shock or die! LOL
