Eik beating Laeradr was so fitting, this unit is less tankier than Niohogg, but he's tanky enough, the banner reveal really did him dirty having him BARELY surviving against BFRobin when in reality that match is not at all difficult for treeman.
I think it is much closer between EIk if you give Laeradr also Sturdy Beast, also don't know how exactly B!Robin was so much better in the trailer, the difference is huge 😅
If you give him Sturdy Beast, he is much better already in surviving certain matchups, the close ones. And in practice he does always flash someone on the map, and there are so much options to make armors more mobile with warping or movements buffs or both
If I had to give this man any role it would have to be a generalist he’s tanky enough does decent enough damage and provides support with his weapon and prf skill and anti warp in c slot he doesn’t specialize in tanking or damage or support so it’s not suprising he lost to so many units
I fear the day other people realize you can use this dude on anima defense with no real drawback. Its crazy how hard he shuts down enemy phase, and with shield fighter support you can turn off player phase pretty effectively too. Plus being an armor means you can slap shield fighter on him and save a slot for more offensive units, though Im probably going to be stuck with the Edel/Hector forma squad for a while. I went the extra mile for the new arcane axes and dc echo on Hector to open up room for deflect missile, havent gotten a loss all week despite all the ninja Lucina running around. Isnt rampant effectcreep fun?
Amazing Support (with poor dark season sinergy and Attuned Micaiah counters him), decent tank (Níðhöggr is 100 times better than him), Nukers like Brave Bernie, Attuned Micaiah, Mythic Thórr, etc... can oblirate him. I think future units will can remove debuffs like Flash in enemy phase like Attuned Micaiah
Geez Laeradr got beaten by Several units, which it shows how much he's not that tanky in comparison to Niohoggr which she was able to tank a lot of hits.. At least he defeated Hraesvelgr which Niohoggr couldn't defeat Hraesvelgr.

Fiago is a decent unit but never had a chance getting him.
