The construction of a cemetery for Swedish, English and Non-Catholics was authorized on 1811 by Dom João VI, Emperor of Brazil, as required by the Swedish Engineer and Director of the Royal Ipanema Iron Factory Carl Gustav Hedberg, which along with other Swedish were Lutherans and so considered to be heretics by the Catholics.
At those times all the cemeteries in Sorocaba were all Catholics and would not allow Lutherans and Anglicans. - Celso Paris

A placa da sepultura o qual aparece 1:09 não existi mais lá, vi em outros vídeos mais recentes do local que a mesma sumiu, lamentável muito provável que tenha sido roubado.

Paulo, boa noite, tenho fotos em alta resolução desses túmulos, esse cemitério servia principalmente aos trabalhadores europeus que trabalhavam na Fazenda Ipanema (Berço da Siderurgia no Brasil). Eles eram protestantes e a Igreja Católica não permitia o enterro em cemitérios comuns. Na lápide em ferro fundido grande, está escrito em alemão que ali jaz uma mãe e dois filhos, ninguém sabe exatamente como morreram. Se quiser ver as fotos me avise. Abraço.
