i got a pair and they do take time to break in and that is because of the leather not the fact that it is a minimalist boot . put them on for a hour or two everyday and then take them off. the back of the foot is what will be the biggest hurdle to overcome. I can say after doing this for about a month or so wearing them almost everyday, they feel so much better and my feet can spread versus other boots that the military thinks is best.
