Tracie left because the music industry wasn’t fun to her anymore and it was more strictly on business and she didn’t like it so she tapped into her other interest and I love and respect that from her she didn’t let that dirty *** industry and the people get to her. Still talented , still beautiful , still got it going on and she looks incredibly amazing and has been doing good with herself and by herself may I add🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽💐❤️ that woman deserves the world and more!!!
I am so glad that I was around when both Tracie Spencer and Shanice dominated the late 80s and early 90s. They were the black Debbie Gibson and Tiffany.
i remeber when i first saw tracie she took my breath away with here beauty and that voice she had great mature voice and she was so young then but she could sing a song like some one older then her she is still one my favorite singers .
Wow, I forgot what NATURAL BEAUTY looked like! Her REAL HAIR?! Natural looking makeup, and her azz covered?! I shole do miss my childhood. Innocent teenage fun. I tell my kids all the time about how AWESOME the 80s and 90s were.
Oh,this hurts watching this because those were the best times to be a teen girl or boy. The music was mature but we were innocent and being a teen girl growing up in the 80-90's with great music. Great talent like Tracie was abundant. I enjoyed music and being a teen girl turning into a young woman. She modelled the way my Mom taught me how to. She is a natural gorgeous beauty and model and amazing singer. Her dance appeal was amazing because every movement even the little ones had jazz, sass and class appeal all over it and as a dancer, I appreciate this video and those awesome tilts
She was soo adorable....look at her, she was just a Baby singing like she had been around the block a few times, Lol!! And can we talk about how gorgeous she is here with all that Beautiful Hair of hers?! Have always loved me some Tracie Spencer.....her music is the epitome of what it meant to be a youth in the 90s.
Tracie, Brandy, and Christina Aguilera had the pipes at VERY young ages to sing songs that grown women were supposed to be singing. All three of them were child prodigies. This is a grown folks song with a some pop to it that was sung by a 13-year old girl (she was 13 when she recorded and finished this song in 1989 and was 14 when it came out in summer 1990).
Capital Records fumbled the ball BIG TIME with Tracie Spencer...she deserved better promotion and direction. This video was everything ' 90's teenage glam .
Just discovered this one! Luv it! 👌 anyone think tracie sounds similar to micheal jackson during the J5 era? Both dam great vocalists btw NO hate or dis just love n light! X
Miss the 90's!!!! Tracie Spencer, Shanice, Tevin Campbell, Brandy, Monica, et al did the damn thing better than Britney, Christina, Backstreet ever could!!!
@@brownstar5432 Watch, they are going to bring up Debbie Gibson and Tiffany and say that they influence Britney and Christina when Stacy Lattisaw, a BLACK female teen singer came out before both of them.
My goodness. She's gorgeous. And, she could sing. It's a shame that it didn't work out for Miss Tracie. I think she got caught up in industry politics.
Christina Smith being in the business when your young can be draining it doesn’t give you time to experience things it lets you grow up too loud and I think she took a step back to grow up she got to go to her prom and take some college classes
Blame Janet Jackson in a way. She set the "standards" for what young women could do and where they could go. She was pushed complex dance routines, sexuality, tight clothes, strong lyrics about anything. Innocent and clean female singers would find it hard to compete.
Quite sadly, Tracie has given up her music career and is now a therapist. Not that being a therapist is sad by any means but sad that we will no longer have more albums from her. I always thought she deserved more attention and was superior to Shanice Wilson.
This gurl could dance like a jazz dancer and she could sing. Multi talented. Miss her and pray all is well. She made my 90's amazing
One Of The Best Female Singers...PERIOD!!!!
not better than shanice!!!
@@brandonmullino7589 they are both great and they love each other🥰💕

Tracie showing she is maturing in this one ..I loved that transition ..I miss our style back then
I had a crush on her and this song was the one I felt she was singing for me. LOL! Just my thought back in 1991. I would listen to that whole album.
Quietus5 that was a dope album
Haha I had a crush on her too.
Wow! I remember listening to this in my bedroom, long before I ever suffered any type of heartbreak. I had a huge crush on Tracie! Lol

she was trained very young by her father Marvin Spencer. who was a professional singer/musician, too.

Happy 48th Birthday Tracie Monique Spencer!(Born July 12, 1976)😃🥳🎂🎉🎊🎈🎁🍾🥂🤎🎀🌷🌹💐👍🏾👏🏾🙌🏾
she's 49 brother. Tracie was born July 12, 1975. yes, I know it says 1976 when you google it...but it's 1975.

Tracie Spencer was born in 1975 which means that she was 15 in this.
Underrated! Love ya Tracie!
I remember those days, these teenage female PHENOMS!!!
Tracie & Shanice.
Then Brandy brought it to a new level during her time.
I forgot all about this little jam! Nice to be reacquainted! 🎶🎵🎶

Timeless Music At Its Best!!!!! #90sRealMusicOverTodaysGarbage
She is talented and too INNOCENT for that bloodthirsty....lust....sin filled adulterous MUSIC INDUSTRY. 🤩
EXACTLY. Glad that she left it and pursued a "regular" career.
I just came here to listen to the original. I grew up on the Cantonese version of this song by Hong Kong singer Sally Yeh.
Shes so cute!
Before Brandy, Monica & Alliyah...there was Tracie!!
omg I use to Idolize her when I was younger lol love her
This was such an underrated song and artist. I was a big fan. Hope she will drop something new.
damn she look good in this video....
She was 14, perv... chill!!!

Love her music- then and now! Did she sample Pebbles or did Pebbles sample her?

I'd concur. She chose her integrity. Gotta respect her for that.
That was why she left. She lost her love to make music in that horrific industry.
Just like Stacy Lattisaw! Super talented in the 80s, but she saw that it was about skin and gyrating in the 90s and she said no thank you after 1991.
Nossa todo ave comigo as músicas dela meu estilo amor este de música 🤩😍😄🥰
LOVE ME SOME TRACIE SPENCER HOW EDDIE DID ON FAMILY MATTERS LBVS
Dope jam.
Great video, but I wish they would have kept the beat from the album version.
Save your love quote doing it three times.
Tracey Spencer was our own version of Aaliyah back then,,Just the teen pop version
@Mackadoeshez .... I think Professorblu was saying that in reply to the person who said she was 13 here. "No Pedophile" lol..

This version is different from the album version; I prefer the album version, but it still a nice track.
No sir!!! I've been looking for this version for forever!!! I have the album and I hate my maxi-single cassette "walked away". LOL
Unsung. Hellowah
