Just bought a CX-5 Preferred in deep crystal blue mica and parchment (cream) interior for below MSRP. Absolutely love it! Smooth handling and oh-so-quiet . Some complain about the infotainment set up, but it’s safer than scrolling on a giant tablet while driving. Had it mastered in two days. Such an underrated brand, but my sales guy said he’s been getting more Toyota defectors lately.
Is it a good thing or a concern? Is invetory piling up because vehicles are not selling? Are vehicle sales given at the end of the month dealer allocations or physical units sold?
@JSS Jonathan, do you see Mazda continuing/carrying over the CX-5 unchanged, or dropping it for 2025? I like the CX-5 but think the gas mileage is kind of poor. It would be great if there was a hybrid version of the CX-5 available (at $1K or $2K higher MSRP).
No way Mazda is dropping the CX-5. It’s their best seller. They might try a hybrid, but Toyota has the hybrid market locked. They have the best hybrid technology. Toyota’s are also rattle buckets. I agree the CX-5 should be offered with an a hybrid option. Toyota and Mazda share some technology, so maybe we’ll see one.
@@alb0zfinest Nope, I got a new car there recently with no markup. Dealerships used to be packed with cars before covid, inventory is just getting back to normal.
Where i live in South Georgia, the lots are full right now. I would've considered Mazda if they had 1 when i was looking in December 23/ January 24. Oh well maybe next time😊
Are Dealership that is about 20 miles away. I stop to get oil filters for my Mazdas there lot was as full as you could get it. I never seen that before.
Jonathan, I hope that they have better batteries than in my 2023 CX-50 (1-1/2 year old). Today it committed a mortal sin by not wanting to start. I was able to jump it, and it started, but it is not holding a charge (I had to jump it a second time after driving for 20 minutes). So Sunday I'm buying a new battery (after another jump in the morning) to replace the bad one. I know Mazda doesn't make their batteries, but they may want to check their supplier for quality issues. This is the first time a Mazda I leased has failed to start (2016 Mazda3 Hatchback, 2018 CX-5 AWD, and 2020 CX-5 FWD).
I know a new battery purchased by a consumer is covered under a warranty, that being said, I would assume your new vehicle will be covered by the same warranty.
Mazda is the. Best brand that is completely slept on. I have had 5 different Mazdas though out my life and they just keep getting better and more refined. My 2021 cx9 carbon edition awd is honestly the best vehicle I have ever owned. The level of detail and refinement is at the Lexus level for a much more affordable price point. My lease is up in a few months and I am wondering what new Mazda vehicle I should lease next. The 2026 line up is absolutely incredible wish they were out now it would make my decision much easier.
It's a veritable sea of Mazdas! Maybe the president of Mazda will look at how many unsold SUVs are on that lot and realize how sorely missed the 6 sedan is, over in the US. The future EZ 6 looks great but it's staying in China. :/
I went to a mazda dealership in Annapolis they have a small parking lot not even a dozen new cars there I was sad I thought the website was lying so went there to check it out. talked to a sales guy he said there is a long waiting list at that location at least people ordered them and waiting for them to be built
Wow! That is a lot of Mazda! Their floorpan must be off the charts! I wish my local dealer had that big of a selection. I wanted the only black Mazda 3 hatch they had on the lot until I looked it up and it has been on their lot since last September. Over 210 days on the lot. So long, the brake rotors were rusting! Not worth negotiating on it!
They are not selling because they are just too expensive. The price of a Mazda CX50 is almost the same as the Rav4. Most people will pick the Toyota at the price point.
I had a 2017 RAV4 LE until it was broadsided while parked, hit and run. Couldn’t stomach the prices of new/newish RAV’s and pounced on the deal I got for the CX-5. Very happy with it.
Gtech66, rav4 are selling more based on reputation, check out the ratings, I owned a 20007 rav4 for 15 years. Had recalls but was very reliable. But now driving the cx5 i feel like the luckiest guy on the plane! 😊
@memo76ers, not so sure I got mine at around invoice including taxes and license, out the door. I’m sure there will be even more discounts leading up to end of quarter, in June.
The most you have ever seen because Mazda charges to much, the economy is crap, and things are not selling.. And don't forget Mazda's are expensive rattle traps.

Congratulations! I love the CX-5
Do they all come with the pollen carbon coating? 😅

Impressive selection!
Yes it is!
Yeah nothing impressive about it when you consider that they aren't selling enough lol. Probably one of those dealerships charging absurdly over msrp.

More Car Vids is BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
🤣🤣🤣
Great cars! How do you think the turbo vs the non-turbo sales compare?

Mazda needs to join the hybrid market quickly!! CX5 and 50.
CX-50 coming soon 😁
@@JSS Will it have the trade mark rattles too????

so you have all the CX 50's down there. keeping national supply low keeps prices high
@JSS , love the fact that you’re keeping yourself aware of what’s going on around the Dealerships in your market.
We’re are they going to put all the 2025 coming in soon ? Seams like to much of a good thing
Market day supply of those?
Mazda the big deal!!
Can't believe you said Outback...

Consider AGM type automotive battery (there are also marine versions).
Brought the CX-50 to my dealer this morning (after another jump start). They replaced the battery under warranty, so no cost to me!

Somebody was typing on a keyboard with mittens on (I think), and all Mazda vehicles unloaded from a ship were sent to this single dealership. 😉

The chip shortage must be officially over. What a huge selection!!! Especially given the number of all new and recent refresh vehicles.
I bought CX 5 last week for less than msrp out the door. Preferred in white with black interior. Absolutely love it!
Everything but 2024 soft top MX-5s. They seem to be not available.
They had a soft top inside. I’m assuming it was 2024.
@@JSS Here in the Midwest they are arriving very slowly from Tacoma , Washington on the railroad.
Just bought a 2024 Mazda 3.
When are you expecting the Cx70?
The PHEV is looking like May 20th. In-line 6 cyl in June.
The first ones that should go are the 330 hp CX-90s.
That Mazda 3 sedan in zircon sand is awesome.
Yes it is very sharp
Pollen season in Alabama. For a few months each year we get to have a free ‘yellow tint’ on our cars! I had an allergy attack watching this video.
🤣 The yellowing has slowed down some for us in the southern part of the state.

They would give you a great deal, and make it right I know.
You must be a Subaru boy😊

They are selling actually, that’s why there’s so many available. Mazda is increasing production for the demand.

Can’t wait for prices at invoice price, plus manufacturer discount, plus dealer discount.
You’ll stay waiting 🤷🏽♂️

Are you going to do a video on the EZ-6?
I will do a News Update. I’m collecting all the info I can now. Will not be able to see one in person 😬😢

Just out of curiosity what do you mean exactly by rattle traps? Like what do they do wrong?
