You didn’t really lose ND on this Camera. The Pocket 6k’s don’t have ND, only the 6k pro. This new camera does not bear the Pro name, so even if it did have the room, by the standard it wouldn’t have had it until a Full Frame Pro came out. Also for sensor size, remember your only changing the focal length with a speed booster not sensor size. You’re misunderstanding how the speed booster works. Focal length changes to a width of a medium format sensor, not the size of a medium format sensor.
Blackmagic released the Ursa Broadcast G2 which is essentially a 6K Ursa about a year or two ago. It comes with an EF mount since the B4 mount only allows you to shoot 4K maximum. I wouldn't say the Ursa line is abandoned.
I don’t know you name, but liked your presentation. I’m a newbie, and was wondering if the adapter with the nd filters would work. Also I could use ef lens with it. Regarding the shutter roll, Da Vinci has a very good remedy. Someone discovered this quite recently and there were WOW’s everywhere. Keep up the good work mate.
I wouldn't base my buying decision on a camera that is 100% perfect (rolling shutter) because none of them are. You could easily use a different camera during fast-moving action scenes. I would, however, base my decision on a beautiful clear picture, with true-to-life skin tones, world-class color capture, Hollywood-level editing and color in DaVinci Resolve, versatile lens selections, and a more than reasonably-priced ecosystem.
A new pocket camera is expected to release within the next few weeks? Wild. Any rumored specs? I read it had similar body to the FX3, higher frame rates....I wonder if they'll start with the basic version without Internal ND....until the PRO version. That would be awful for me LOL I hope the announce both models at the same time.@@FireFaceFilms
Here’s the link to the focal reducer mentioned in the video!

love the new product breakdowns
As I watched this video, I slowly turned my eyes towards my Mamiya 645 and bag of medium format lenses. Oh, the joy that is on the horizon for me!
If you’re gonna do this, you have got to share your findings!!
@@FireFaceFilms I will do a camera test and if it goes well, I will shoot my next narrative short with it.

You can absolutely use EF-ND adapters. We’ve heard about the rolling shutter hack too and it seems very interesting!
Thanks for that, subscribed 😊😊😊
Bro you deserve more subs
We’re gonna get there eventually! Thank you for the love 🥹
I thought the same thing! that is my plan. When the 6kff drop the kipon speed booster was the first thing that came to my mind!

great video! can you put a link to the mentioned Kipon focal reducer?
Absofruitly can do ( it’ll be pinned top comment)
Sorry... The chip does not grow bigger when you put an "Speed boost" adapter in front of it
We’re quite aware. The FOV increases though, which still supports the point made
I love blackmagic.low price great colours,image

Supposedly in mid October, so fingers crossed that we’re close! (October 16th was a date we heard)
