I really liked "Before the Coffee Gets Cold." I've only read the first two books and am still waiting for my library to order a physical copy of the third one. "Return to the Hundred Acre Wood" is a comfort read that I've read and reread so many times as a child. It's got some cozy vibes going on. Not a graphic novel, but it has beautiful illustrations.🧸
I can also say that this years was one of the worst years that I have had as well. I’ve found myself reading a lot more this year because I’ve been finding things I have really liked. I added the graphic novels to my TBR because they sounded really interesting 🧣
* hugs to a horrible year that is finally coming to a close * I wish I had the same feeling as you where this year motivated me to read more! I feel like I’ve been avoiding reading because it’s the one time I allow silence to surround me and then I’m alone with my thoughts 🫠
I requested the Garlic graphic novels from my library & found a copy of The Mistletoe Motive as an e-book! It looks so cozy! I enjoyed The Pumpkin Spice Cafe last year & I started The Cinnamon Bun Bookstore last week but ran out of listening hours on Spotify :(
@StoriesForCoffee I am so confused by how audiobooks work on Spotify. I listened to maybe 7 hours of one book, then I started this new one & only got about an hour into it when it told me I reached my limit. And it sounds like it's so many hours every 30 days not per month. So even though it's a new month, my hours haven't reset...
I've literally read everything you recommended on this list with the exception of "Friends and Lovers" (have it on my shelf) and the Mistletoe book at the end :) A few cozy recommendations for you: "The Crescent Moon Tea Room", "What You Are Looking for Is in the Library", and Kate DiCamillo's Norendy Tales 🧶🍁☕!!

Omg that’s the worst! I wish Spotify would at least let you finish a book you began before your hours ran out
