Coach Curtis honestly this is what the LoL community has been missing. There’s macro guides out there but they’re usually behind pay walls so for a mid laner like me trying to learn TF this was great! Thanks again!

I just carried the first game ever because of your advice ( first proper carry) and felt like i understood the game much more. Then I played another game and dominated even more in the early game ( was responsible almost single handedly for getting all the enemies tier 1 towers while keeping our own ) but then after this I had no idea what to do. I chose to push for tier 2 in side lanes, drawing people to me but then retreating preparing to ult to my team and take a teamfight, but my team was utterly unprepared to fight or in general to followup on my ultimate ( it was like they genuinely thought i was one ofthe only Ultless champion in the game like Udyr) I also screwed up my first ult because though i realised top was my ult side and I could ult and kill veigar as he was immobile, my teemo top was totally ignorant of my on the way pings and i wasnt able to get enough damage out on my own ( so i guess i shudnt have ulted that lane and shud have ulted bot more , which worked out well in my later ults ) But the main problem was what could i have done with this team? after taking first 3 towers? My own analysis afterwards when I was writing notes for the game was that 1. I should have been focused on objectives after Tier ones were down and should have been pinging objectives more and also considering which side lane to push with regard to objectives ( which tbh I forgot to do, although im not sure this team were aware there is a dragon and baron) 2.Also i chose the wrong lane to use my early game pick ults on, and maybe even though veigar is immobile he is hard to kill because of his event horizon? ( bottom enemies were jhin and lux) Is this the correct analysis? (this was a bronze game ) thanks for all your help so far Curtis

Thank you Curtis for sharing your insights! I'm picking up the game again and this definitely helped me out re-focusing on the correct macro decisions for soloq
Imagine this is 3 years ago, and I played league since 2012 and only this year I'm learning some macro the video is very good and educational but the majority doesn't know this kind of things because it wasn't really spread for others to know, so that's why this vid only has small views even though there's millions of LoL players.
More Great content Bro, how can we build up this channel more you need more subs bro. Your articulate and your ideas come across very clearly. Keep up the good work.
I'll keep pumping it out don't worry! Share it with some of your other mid lane friends that struggle in mid game. I'm just trying to help as many people as possible ! Thanks for the support :)
I think you're a great! I'm learning a lot but there's the occasional thing that doesn't make sense to me and is keeping me from completely trusting the videos. Maybe others feel the same way. For example, in the first game, you talk about how the team with Nautilus has no hard engage, which allows you to go to a side lane instead of grouping. He's no Zac or Kled or J4 but if the other team really wanted to start a 5v4, flash R followed by hook and yasuo R seems like it would be unavoidable. But you're much higher ranked than me, so there's probably just something I'm missing.
Hey Armand great question :) The main reason I believe Naut is kind of irrelevent is 2 reasons. 1) In higher elo thresh actually stands near/behind Lucian all the time for lanterns AND ontop of that Lucian Dash is extremely annoying for Nautilus 2) The follow up damage is quite underwhelming and unreliable given we have full control of river anyway so we can see if they begin to group. IF this were lower elo, I'd probably group a little more then I am in this game. Thanks for watching mate :)
This is really good content! I like that you approached the topic from a variety of different situations. Can you do an analysis of a pro game and show how the players use macro there? Or maybe a commentary of replays from people at different levels to point out some "common and relateable" macro mistakes. I feel this could be informative bacause it can show how to work from suboptimal gamestates. Especially interesting could be to point out low-percentage plays that happen to work out, because those are hard to spot yourself.
Hey Kaiwelos thanks for the feedback. The main reason I haven't done any pro game analysis is because I find a lot of the stuff not applicable to people climbing in their own games. But it is something I can experiment with moving forward. I think you are right, commentary of replays at differing elos would make a useful video.
The game because so much harder if you play like this ! Nice tip man. I realize I should only play a single champion until I learn his identity and what to do in most situations. Any chance you could give coaching for a plat3 mid player? And at what price ?
Check out my website for coaching details. I'm not sure if there are many sessions available though, they may be sold out. So stay tuned on the discord :)
The biggest take away of the lesson is awareness and mindfulness. Awareness of champions, lead, map, circumstances, etc. And mindfulness of your decisions
Really good video! I was wondering since zoe is not an assassin who can win side or a mage that can fight front to back, how would you play her in the midgame?
Great question! She is a bit unique in that sense. Generally Zoe does have to be played front to back, BUT generally what you want to be doing in mid game is making the fights unfair from the start, by getting really good poke off OR not letting the enemy come into an area OR not letting the enemy team engage through your poke. You can do this by controlling a specific area with pinks, ideally around river and landing bubbles and Q-R's from out of vision
Thank you for the content mydude, really appreciate your videos specially now that I'm learning Viktor and training him for soloq. Would you recommend me any guides/players/streamers? Thanks once again!
Hey Marc, have you seen my Viktor guide? Apart from my viktor guide, I don't know personally many streamers or other players who main him unfortunately. Maybe do some research on youtube :)
In all those cases, bot (if ahead) took take over mid. But what if top is hard winning and the rest is losing? Is Top moving mid or should he keep pushing out the top and our job is to provide vision, which is a bad idea imo. My guess is: top pulls aggro so the rest of us have a number advantage to take objectives. Is this right?
If top is very ahead then he should continue to create pressure in the side lane and either push and move mid to create a man advantage OR drag 2 people towards him because he is just getting towers and they need to pressure him away. Either way he is creating a man advantage and relieving pressure for the rest of the map
I’m playing talon and idk where to side lane top or bot when objectives are up and how do I stop myself from getting picked in the side lane for objectives? I’m in gold
Then you call to group mid and force an objective, OR go mid with the 3 and get vision control on one side and then use that to push out one of the side lanes
In your opinion What's the play if your team refuses to group for an objective after getting a picking the jungler and start pushing down mid when they dont win the 4 v 5? It's happened to me so many times when my team refuses to snag a drag and decide to autopilot mid and overextend

I think you can learn fundamentals with her, but you can also learn fundamentals with plenty of other champions. If I were a low elo player, I'd play the champs I love but also practice mid fundamentals with other champs slowly in normal games or something like that
@@CoachCurtis thx as a washed up d4 in s4, i really need to relearn the game so kinda need to get a champion that i love and and the same time helps me to learn, btw what champs do u recommend in this fast paced meta?
I played an ori first pick vs a super safe azir. I decided to roam a lot and go into skirmishes, but we finally lost the game because my opponent pushed my lane until the nexus. How do I play Orianna if my team needs me?
Is the macro for irelia similar to fizz or no? She's melee and can sidelane but she doesn't instantly blow up an enemy and maybe is good for teamfights
37:12 Why do you say you are behind? You have 140 CS highest among all players, highest level (12, shared with Heimer), you recovered to 4 kills with the double kill when they dived bot. Your gold is probably the highest between both teams. Maybe you could've done better, but that doesn't mean you are weak.
Great question, so this is something I don't talk about often and I should have expanded on it. Yes I am farmed, and have some decent items, but given the map state where I am in the side lane verse a fed reksai in which I have no flash and no armor and no defensives, it is incredibly hard for me to be in a position where I can actually get off my damage reliably. Heimerdinger hard chunks me with rockets, I struggle to rotate due to reksai, so I'm actually slowly getting further behind. And ontop of that Swain was incredibly strong and built tanky so he can create a lot of space and make it hard for me to kill back line, and it takes me ages to kill swain since i have not much magic pen. So im not strong in side AND I can't operate that well in the teamfights yet. I'm not completely weak but definitely not in a position to carry
