Hey Guys, I also received a $3,500 Military discount for the truck which helped with adding the running boards and new tires/rims! Also Finance videos coming soon to the channel and more OFF THE BASE videos! Thanks for watching!
I just got the exact same truck last week man. Same color, model and year w 27k miles. Lovin it! I can see 100 Tacos in a day without seeing our color. She’s a beauty. I’d say leave the lift as is. Sick wheels!!
@@VileficHD it actually was pretty fast for me, I’m coming out of Oklahoma, but I set an appointment with a recruiter in the middle of October, went in and scheduled a MEPS appointment, went to MEPS the next week and here I am
By the way, the wireless key fob emits a very strong signal that’s easy for theives to copy into another fob and steal your vehicle. There’s a huge amount of stolen Toyota’s and other higher end vehicles being exported out of the country. When you leave your vehicle, put your fob in a “faraday” sleeve. They sell them on amazon.
Yes sir, it lifted it a little bit I also added a 3 inch level kit which gave it some height. And I’m thinking the same seems like the perfect height right now, thanks for the input!
Should be in mine next week. Had to drive about 100 miles to get one. TRD Sport 6spd manual, Army Green. I wanted charcoal but the wait time was almost 2 months. Great video, thanks!
I've always heard the worst investment one can make in joining the military is buying a new vehicle that's going take a big chuck out of your pay and that's including insurance. But that's a nice looking truck.
Suspension is just right. The more you lift, the more you’ve gotta change parts like T-case drop, lower control arms, adjustable track bar etc. it’s a slippery slope when you add a bunch of lift
@@AirmanNick yessir! I’ve got a 95 Cherokee with a 3” lift. Any more and I’ll need to buy new adjustable lowers (just bought some that aren’t), that t-case drop, a slip yoke eliminator, sway bar link disconnects to name a few. Also be careful with bigger wheels and tires. 33” tires on 20” wheels shouldn’t be bad unless the wheels are super heavy. Bigger you go, the more likely you’ll need a higher gear ratio. Mine has 3.55 gears since its 4WD instead of 3.09’s for 2WD. Anything higher than 29’s I would need 3.73’s and 33’s or bigger need 4.10’s I got a video on my channel of a walk around on my Jeep before the 3” lift. Once it’s back from the motor getting rebuilt I’ll do a video on the lift you could check out just to get a better idea. Parts just need to be longer than stock the higher you lift.
@@NBHRaven awesome bro sounds sick and thanks for the input, I’ll check out the video and will be looking forward to the update video after the lift is done!

I’d add a level lift kit or Bilstein 5100 series lift shocks. Also add a few led offroad lights, both forward facing and in bed/bumper area. You’ll use them more than u think. I use mine all the time.
@@AirmanNick Another big thing is your tailgate. They're extreamly easy to steal. I keep mine secured with a hose clamp around the pivot at the bottom. They're $3500 to replace b/c sensors/cameras. Also the catalytic converters are very stealable so be careful where you park. I live in Los Angeles where everyone's a thief so maybe this is all overkill for you.
Hey thank you for the video, I'm planning on getting the TRD SPORT premium because I want the 6 foot bed and it comes with the same 17inch rims. I very much like the ones you have and would also consider selling the stock rims if I do get it.
I pretty much saved every single dollar from BMT and tech school there isn’t anything you need to spend money on. Gave myself like $50 a week during 6 months of tech school and saved the rest. Also have made investments into the stock market and crypto currency which helped a little. I wouldent recommend buying an expensive car when you first enlist unless you already have decent savings and a plan.
Not only is the green a rare color, but your 4X2 Tacoma was assembled in Texas. A rarity also, as the vast majority of 2019-21 Tacoma's are made in Mexico. I know the manual shifting Tacos are all assembled in Texas. Nice truck though!
I’m not trying to be super nosy or anything Nick but goddamn bro do you live in a mansion in Florida?? Couldn’t see much but those houses where you were filming looked beautiful!
All trd sports since forever have the non functional hood scoops. The offroads have the rear lockers. Trdpros have both hood scoop and rear lockers just a fyi.
