As an Egyptian from the south of Egypt who now lives in America, I get mistaken for African-American all the time. I've accepted that the original Egyptians were pure Africans. This works to my advantage because I look like my ancestors looked. However, most Egyptians in the North are the descendants of colonizers: Greeks, Romans, Turks, Slavs, Persians, etc. The educated ones know this and they know that many have little to no Arab blood especially considering the fact that the original Arabs were Black too.

@@Userkaf_II I am not Nubian. My family history is Egyptian. The fake Egypto-Arab colonizers call us Fir'aunis: people who retained cultural elements of Ancient Egypt. It sounds like we've read much of the same research.
The conclusion I've drawn is that distinguishing between ancient Nubian, Egyptian, and other Nile Valley ethnic groups is splitting hairs. The only benefit it yields is to demonstrate the level of obfuscation from White Supremacist Egyptologists and fake Egyptians.
However, we need to move beyond arguments with obfuscators and start building a global racial/ethnic identity based of truth: Black identity.

@Vortexvoid69 We have no royal descent in our family history. There are Egyptian families who are caretakers of the esoteric secrets. They'd probably know who is descended from royalty and who isn't.
Any family that had that history would guard it. When the Persians took Arabia from the Black Arabs (Umayyad Dynasty) around 750AD, they hunted down the family members of Prophet Muhammad. The Ptolemies and Romans had similar pogroms against elite families that didn't accept their authority.

Certainly, a significant number of contemporary Egyptians trace their ancestry back to the Arabs of the Middle East. We must remember this, just like in this video shows of all those black ancient Kemetic/Egyptians people.
The remaining segment comprises the black Kemetic/Egyptians, primarily consisting of farmers and commoners who couldn’t leave.
However, the notably, members of the royal family relocated to regions in South, East, and West Africa to evade the grave threats of rape, torture, and death they would have otherwise faced.

Predynastic ancient Egypt was a Nile Valley African culture that rose from the kingdom of Ta-Seti and Naqada (6000-3150 BCE).
Dynastic ancient Egypt continued from 3150 BCE till 1638 BCE before the Semitic Hyksos invaded the delta region.
The racial mixing of Egypt's population and the resulting reduction of the black population was due to multiple invasions by forces outside Africa:
1638 BCE - 1530 BCE: Hyksos invasion and conquest
669 BCE - Assyrians from Mesopotamia conquer and rule Egypt.
    525 BCE - Persian conquest.
332 BCE - Alexander the Great, of ancient Macedonia, conquered Egypt, and founded Alexandria. A Macedonian dynasty ruled until 31 BC.
31 BCE - Egypt comes under Roman rule; Queen Cleopatra commits suicide after Octavian’s army defeats her forces.
33 CE - Christianity comes to Egypt, and by the 4th century has largely displaced Egyptian religion.
642 - Arab conquest of Egypt.
969 - Cairo was established as the capital.
1250 - 1517 - Mameluke (slave soldier) rule, characterized by great prosperity and well-ordered civic institutions.
1517 - Egypt absorbed into the Turkish Ottoman Empire.
1798 - Napoleon Bonaparte’s forces invade but are repelled by the British and the ) in 1801.
1805 - Ottoman Albanian commander Muhammad Ali established a dynasty that reigned until 1953, although nominally part of the Ottoman Empire.

Do you know the weird part about that list you posted? It is CORRECT and explains a good deal why Lower Egypt (and North Africa as a whole) looks the way it does today.
But the weird part is that there is a similar list of Egyptian invasions into the Middle East before all of those invasions into Egypt that would have pushed Black Africans into Israel, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia which would have made these populations Black/Blacker in their past.

Though present-day Ethiopia is a land of great ethnic diversity, the majority of Ethiopians speak different Semitic, Cushitic, and Omotic languages that belong to the Afro-Asiatic linguistic phylum. Maternal lineages of Semitic- (Amharic, Tigrinya, and Gurage) and Cushitic- (Oromo and Afar) speaking populations studied here reveal that their mtDNA pool is a nearly equal composite of sub-Saharan and western Eurasian lineages. This finding, consistent with classic genetic-marker studies (Cavalli-Sforza 1997) and previous mtDNA results, is also in agreement with a similarly high proportion of western Asian Y chromosomes in Ethiopians (Passarino et al. 1998; Semino et al. 2002), which supports the view (Richards et al. 2003) that the observed admixture between sub-Saharan African and, most probably, western Asian ancestors of the Ethiopian populations applies to their gene pool in general. On the other hand, significant differences in the proportions of derived lineages of haplogroup N between northeastern and south-central samples from Ethiopia are consistent with the proximity of the Tigrinya region (Aksum) and Eritrea to the coast of the Red Sea, the latter having mediated gene flow with Egypt and southern Arabia-perhaps, in particular, with the rise of Semitic cultural influence in the region. In contrast, the similarity of Amharas and Oromos, also expressed in other genetic loci (Fort et al. 1998; Corbo et al. 1999), supports the idea that “amharization” may have been largely a sociocultural rather than a genetic phenomenon. Yet, it is important to add here that Y-chromosomal haplogroup J1-M267, which is widespread throughout Arab-speaking countries and encompasses a third of Amharan Y chromosomes, has hardly penetrated the Cushitic-speaking Oromo population (Semino et al. 2004).

You got beautiful statues and sculpture from West Africa portraying all types of afros, braids and beautiful hairstyles, you have beautiful paintings in Ethiopia with Jesus and the saints with giant afro's, you have the beautiful depictions of kandakes and other sudanese with beautiful afro hair in Sudan. And of course in Egypt the renderings of afro styles, braids are amazing, even those baby curls black girls put in their braids today you can still find those on mummies. Time stamp 5:31 - 6:54. It's ironic how the archeologists think that the ancient Hebrew language, the Hebrew Bible or that Semites who are descended from Shem, a son of Noah, where white.
Far from it. Beginning from Adam ( אָדָם ) which actually means: "one who is red" or "one who is the color of clay," the fact is that Adam was a black man made from the soil of Africa. Chawah or better still Hawa ( חוה ), the first woman the Europeans renamed "Eve" was also black. "Hawa" is a name that you will find in Swahili, Hausa, and Arabic.
Classical Arabic like ancient or biblical Hebrew is an African language. This is no joke but a fact. I can read biblical Hebrew to some extent and I have also heard a few classical Arabic words, and many of these words sound similar and mean exactly the same thing in Igbo my mother tongue as in these other languages.
Words like "water," "eyes," "house," "evil," "going," "coming," "speech," "voice," "no" and so many other words mean and sound similar in biblical Hebrew just as in Igbo. Even the grammatical structure and the poetic mannerisms of the biblical Hebrew language is similar to Igbo. However, modern Hebrew is an invented language created by Europeans. Even though Modern Hebrew borrowed many ancient Hebrew words, it's closer in grammatical structure to the English language than to biblical Hebrew.
Ancient Hebrew is a symbolical and pictorial language. And it is similar in structure to Medu Neter the ancient language of Kemet ( Egypt ) and Nsibidi the ancient language of the people who live East of the River Niger. These languages are highly spiritual and have been known to be exceptionally potent in the hands of the adept. In the hands of the adept these languages are known to upend physical phenomena and communicate with spiritual entities. Modern Hebrew on the other hand is neither symbolical nor spiritual.
Whenever you have the time take a look at the ancient Hebrew pictographs, Nsibidi the ancient writing system of the Ibibios, the Efiks, and the Igbos, and Medu Neter and you will be amazed at the similarities.
Nsibidi was said by research to be 1,000 to 2,000 years older than Medu Neter. Nsibidi means: "from the beginning" or "in the beginning." Now, this should give you an idea just how ancient that language really is ( fun fact: the first Black Panther movie used Nsibidi inscriptions extensively ).
When you peel of the white paint you will see that the Semites were never white to begin with. They are black and they looked just like the ancient people of Kemet ( Egypt ).
The customs and traditions documented in the Torah by Moses, a black man, are the same customs and traditions practiced by the Igbos, the Yorubas, the Edos, the Hausas ( before the advent of Islam ), and many other African tribes.
When I read the Torah in biblical Hebrew, I am actually reading about my own culture and traditions, sacrifices, and rites. The 8th day circumcision of all male children born in Igbo land and of Igbo parentage is a basic staple of the Igbo culture. An Igbo child is given a name the same day he is circumcised. This a a great tradition which the Igbos have been keeping for thousands of generations before the Europeans came to peddle to them the whitewashed Bible in English. Note: The Yorubas and the Edos and also other African tribes keep this same sacred tradition as well.
The number 7 is of great spiritual importance to the Igbo people, the Yoruba people, the Edo people and other African tribes. Just ask any person of Igbo, Yoruba, or Edo descent who really understand their culture and they will tell you what it entails. These tribes do not joke with the number 7, and neither does Yahweh within the Torah.
The manner of sacrifices at the altar built for Yahweh are the done in the same way and manner by many African tribes till date. Some of these sacrifices entail the sprinkling of blood seven times around the altar and the pouring of strong drink in libations. The African priests who do these rites ( this priesthood is inherited and passed down from father to son ) are likely the descendants of the ancient Lewi ( לֵּוִ֗י ) priests. For they keep excaltly the same traditions of the Lewi ( לֵּוִ֗י) by eating from and getting their livelihoods from the sacrifices which they offer at the altar.
Now, the Europeans changed the pronouncation of the name "Lewi" to "Levi." Just as they did to "Dawid" by changing it to "David." However, there is no "V" sound in biblical or ancient Hebrew. A sound that is also absent in many African languages. Instead, biblical Hebrew has is a "W" sound, a sound which is common in many African languages. Modern Hebrew has a "V" sound which has roots in the German language.
Now, back to Adam, Yahweh ( יהוָ֖ה ) made him from the dust of Adamah ( הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה ) and Adamah is clay soil. And what color is clay soil? Brownish red. Yahweh ( יהוָ֖ה) named him Adam ( אָדָם) because of the complexion of his skin and not because he was a man.
From the word Adam ( אָדָם ) you get the related Hebrew word "dam" which means "blood." Dam ( דָם ) actually describes the color of sand you see at the edge of a river. Or a swamp. And that kind of sand is muddy and composed mostly of clay.
The ancient Hebrew word "dam" ( דָם ) is made up of two pictographs "dalet" ( ד ) which means: "a door" or "edge of" and "mem" ( ם ) which means "water" "or "something which flows in waves." Now, when you place both of them together you get a graphical description of what "dam" ( דָם ) "blood" looks like: "the color of red wet clay." This is the color of Adam's complexion. And the only people on this planet who have skin the same color as clay are black people.
The blackness and the Africaness of the first man and woman is even backed up by scientific research. Watch National Geographic's mini documentary "Scientific Adam and Scientific Eve" here on RUclips to get the full gist of the matter.

I wish we would take back Africa instead of calling the lower lands sub. As if they are less than or subhuman.

Excellent point. Europeans coined "sub-Saharan" as code word for sub-human; as if the Sahara was the reference point. Instead, it they should say Africa in general because Black people live all over Africa; and Saharan Africa when specifically discussing the Sahara.
Black people could have coined "sub-Artic" Europe when discussing Northern Europe, but we generally do not need to de-humanize other people. We could also declare that Europe is NOT a continent, but instead, Europe is a peninsular of Asia, or at most, a sub-continent of Asia, just as they denote that India is a sub-continent.
We really need to take all of Africa back, plus the Levantine and Arabia. In fact, Australia and the Americas need to be reclaimed too, but all of that would be a very bloody affair, unless conducted by stealth over a century or so.

Further, modern maps of Africa are upside-down with respect to ancient maps of Africa. North was considered South and South was considered North. So by your statement, Saharan Africa is BELOW Non-Saharan Africa, i.e. "sub".

We have alot of special places throughout africa. As a south african of the Ngubane clan theres hidden gems hidden in our clan praises that alot can be told about the past. They carry alot of symbolism and metaphorical imagery. Im sure you all know that Zulu directly translate to Heaven and simple things like terms used loosely today like bantu people were all misinformation by the west. BANTU means People. UMUNTU means Person. Abantu(People) + umuntu(person/self) = Ubuntu ( I am Because You Are).
Ultimately the use of bantu people term could mean everyone in the world to us nguni people, according to our language, are "people" or Bantus just like the term used to describe us. From this you can learn that our clasification does not separate us from each other because we are all a "people" or Umuntu who is capable of Ubuuntu.
Then we can talk about the stories of the past from the era of ancient Mesopotamia we archeological proof of ancient mining in Southern Africa which was the resulf of The Cradle of Mankind being found in the south because of the stories of the texts from the sumerian texts. So in other words be it in the south or north we africans have to world history under our feet they not being acknowledged because of so called insufficient scientific proof which is western bs. In south africa we have an site older then the Stonehenge that we can probably say was the prototype of Stonehenge in South African province of MPUMALANGA (Where the sun rise) the site is locally known as INZALO YELANGA (Birth of the Sun) and to some traditional leaders there are stories that talk about anciant ancestor of the traditional healers lineages that they deem as the most high ancestor for those who are spiritually gifted as traditional healers(Sangoma) on the site of Inzalo yeLanga the name of the monument is Adams Calendar/Enkis Calender on one of the stone statues and according to sumerian texts It was Enkis Abode in the Abzu/deep abzu(Southern African mining region) and the place his son (Dumuzi) was buried by goddess Inanna who could also be Goddess Nuwa of the Chinese myths due to her being in charge of the 3rd Region which was the Indus Valley according to the sumerian texts so it could be possible the story of Dumuzi being buried in the Abzu align with the belief of our local people of the ancient being who is considered an ancestors to the spiritually gifted.
Theres alot to think once you piece it all together and realise that alotnof history from africa is being suppressed directly or indirectly by scholars of the western standards of what is truth.

My African brother, it’s come to my attention that our brothers over in the Sudan in the Nile valley also independently domesticated the auroch.
There’s now 3 different regions the auroch was domesticated:
    •Anatolia & the Fertile Crescent,
    •the Indian subcontinent &
    •Nubia.
It has been demonstrably shown that it’s extremely improbable that cattle cane from Western Asia to the green Sahara during the Aqualithic and the Pastoral Neolithic of East Africa, but there’s an independent indigenous African domestication event of the auroch in the Sudan.

Recent diggings and artifacts throughout Meroe, Ta-Nehisi, Itiopi, all of these [places] south of Egypt, have further supported the southern origin of the Egyptians as black people

So something I did consider greatly and still do is the possibility of pyramid building coming from America to Africa. The variety of stepped pyramids in america and the way stepped pyramids seem to jump to the smooth walled pyramids did give me that impression and possibility. But African pyramid building shows very reasonable genetic continuity with tumulis and other mounds found in Africa. I am yet to be aware of any such continuity between the pyramids of Asia and america with any of their local architectural buildings. So for now there is a very clear indication that pyramid building originated in Africa, matured around the nubio-kemetic complex and spread to other parts of the world. This is all mostly speculative on my part. Haven't found time to study deeply into this issue.

A lot of West Africans migrated from East Africa; especially Sudan. This explains why some old maps show West Africa as West Sudan/West Ethiopia, and India was called East Ethiopia. Today, there are Countries within Central or West Africa called Kam. The Ancient name of Egypt. Many West Africans still demonstrate very similar burial customs like the Ancients. The Jukun, Igbo, Yoruba to mention a few. Today, many Kings still hand the staff of authority and power down to their descendants. The Igbo call one of their staffs Ofo. The African sistrum is the tambourine that black churches still use today throughout the diaspora. Not to mention hymns are poetry and poetry is rap. One's origins is in their DNA. The Ancients ate plenty of watermelon, a fruit native to Africa. The African gourd was used for everything including the musical instrument, the bango. Today, by nature some blacks name their kids with sha, ba, ya/h, ka, la, ja, shua, ni, qua/kwa ex La-ti-sha etc. in it.
Man was once called earth-man prior to being called human. A people of origin.

Mass burial is the epitome of Ubuntu-Ma'atic practice, wouldn't you agree?
I suspect that this practice, belief and lifestyle forms the major underpinnings to the reason why and how Kemet reached the great heights it did and for the length of time. They were prolific in their pursuits and quite honestly unmatched.
To demonstrate how powerful their living systems were, their kings and queens were living divinities, whom they would die with.
Although western thinkers and brainwashed people today might not be able to comprehend, let alone accept such concepts and ideals, they don't have any issues questioning their own beliefs such as a man dying on a cross, for all of humanity, or a sky god returning and their flying up to meet him him in the twinkle of an eye. Nor do they question the allegations of people suffering and dying in the name of christianity. Yet, when we compare what the western world has brought about and achieved vs the ancient Kemetyu, there is no comparison of note to be had.
The quality of life in a western hegemonic led time is punctuated with absurdity, hypocrisy, lies, deception, poverty, inequality and most of all wars, nothing but endless wars. Barbarism of the Yamnaya on steroids, in replication of their paternal ancestral roots.

Man I have a bunch of books bro, they're big chonkers big archaeology text books some are like 100 bucks haha. Ranging from the Yoruba to the Nubians to the Ethiopians to the Ghanaian. Since these things aren't really taught in school you gotta pay sometimes for good scholarship. But bro I recommend you watch these two talks they'll highlight alot of stuff for you. And I'll make a vid on books and papers and essays I use in these videos.

The Bible is very clear that Ancient Egypt was African. Egypt or Mizraim was descended from Ham.

This question seems to cause offence
    The question
what links are there with the Levant and Mediterranean apart from the current population and later pharaohs?
    observations
the more artefacts & relics I see, I see links with inner Africa
    examples
hairstyles, customs, pyramids and Sudan and Ethiopia but none in the Levant.
    wall paintings
    note
I haven't made any claims , as im not connected to ancient Egypt as a west African descendant. I've simply asked a question and highlighted an observation

The original people of the Levant were Black if you didn't know. A large part of the population of west Asia was from Africa during the neolithic, even in Iran people were Black just like people in Europe. We still find west african remains in neolithic settlements till this day actually. During the neolithic the Levant is really an extension of Africa.
