hi nicole. im new here in canada a freelance developer then i have a new project for a real estate agent. nowmy question is which is the best wordpress to use for real estate website. i prefer elementor but which do you think is the best for real estate. elementor or just buy the premium real estate theme. also my followup question is the idx broker system is will run to any website theme like elementor or premium theme? thanks in advance for your response to my question. i loved your video. i really learned about how to integrate plugin in my real estate project. fyi i already subscribe and hit the all notification.
Hi Estee! I like Elementor best, and you should be able to use it with the real estate theme you are using. Hi Nicole, after been out of work since Covid and having fair knowledge of Wordpress I decided to create a real estate site to cover my native land Ireland, as it only consists of 32 counties, tge listings wouldn’t need to be many, would you recommend the free listings plug-in you mentioned to start off?... also, if I purchased the monthly fee, could I discontinue after a few months would I still have those listings to work with or do the listings go when I terminate my monthly deal? Yes, I would suggest starting off with the free plugins and then if you need more, upgrade to the premium versions. Hi Thandeka, Most themes should work, you are probably looking for a plugin. I did a search and found Home Value by 8blocks that should work for you. I've never used it before, so I can't vouch for it personally, but it looks like it should give you what you are looking for. wordpress.org/plugins/home-value/
HI. I clicked on the link to IMPress Listings link and I looked at the basic listing that was included with the plug-in and I noticed that the map there was an error on the Google maps and when I clicked on the map it sent me to Google page about their Maps API so I'm not sure if there's a problem with the plug-in or is it just a glitch? I would think if they're trying to sell something like that that they would make sure everything was working properly. Right?
Hi John, I'm pretty sure that Google recently changed how they display their maps on other websites, but yes I agree it's something the plugin author should fix. If you message them directly you should be able to ask to see if they will be making any updates soon.
It has nothing to do with the plugin or theme. Google maps on a website requires an api to function. It's all in the developer pages in google. It can be a very confusing process, so I'd suggest to hire someone who knows how to use api's. Additionally you'll also need to put a card on file in google. You won't get charged unless your maps in the website gets used after a certain high number.
Hi Arsalan, If you would like to take payments with your website, I would suggest using Woocommerce. For invoices, would look into a plugin for whatever you are currently using. For example, if you are using Quickbooks, there is are plugins that integrate with Woocommerce.
