Hi can you please answer these questions: Can you not apply for dorm and instead live outside the dorm? Or can you only move out of dorm after successfully passing TOPIK level 3? Also can you stay at dorm for 1 month only or do you need to stay there for at least a full semester (4-6 months) and then move out? What if all dorms are taken and there’s no room left for you?
How to collect money that kgsp gives after going to Korea 1. Do we need to create a bank account in Korea (or) they will send it to our account in a bank
For a KGSP student it is pretty hard to do part time job... Needs lot of paperwork and for example in my school we can only do it in the winter and summer break. Plus as a graduate student... It is not impossible, but you won't sleep much for sure, so I don't suggest it...
@@josephlyemayinseh1067 It mostly depends on the country you are from and how fierce is the competition for the scholarship. There is a bigger chance you will be chosen if you pursue the level you have not completed yet, but I know people who are doing their second master with the program.
That’s kinda stereotypical of you to think that Moscow is still socialistic, if you have made minimal research you could’ve find out that post ussr countries have changed drastically from 30 years ago. About smiling, it’s a cultural thing it’s not that people are not nice there, it’s that it’s not considered normal to smile at every occasion. In our countries the smile have to be deserved, so when someone smiles it actually has value, not just smiling at everyone you meet. There is even a saying that only dummies smile without a reason. Just felt like people shouldn’t fall into conclusions without some background info
I'm not from Moscow but I felt so upset about this. I can't believe she thought the airport was like that, she could have checked the airport on Google!
I totally agree with what you said about having background info before assuming stuff, but for the smiling part it actually tends to affect the mood and the energy of the customer/grantee of any service, as i disagree with the saying *only dummies smile all the time* as it really is nice to show your happiness and respect to other people, of course it doesnt have to be fake but at least trying to be nicer and more joyful would definitely make a difference.
Sis ,thank you so much for your video. It's so useful to aspiring candidates! when do they give the settlement allowance? immediately after we arrive?or with monthly stipend?
Hello! Your videos are so informative! I have some questions though.. how much money should we bring with us to Korea? And is the monthly stipend enough to live in Korea? How much luggage did you carry? It would be great if you gave some luggage packing tips!! Thank you in advance 😊 And keep up the good work!
Good questions, amazing idea. I will do a video about packing tips. :) Thank you! Well shortly I had been saving up since I decided to apply, so I have some savings I could spend when we arrived, but as you dont get the stipend immediately you should prepare at least 200-300 $ or more for the first 2 weeks or so. The stipend is enough if you live anywhere, but Seoul. If you live in Seoul, it is still enough, but you have to think twice what you buy. I will talk about this as well in my video then. :) Hope I could answer your question until the video comes out.
But I wanna ask you something For Kgsp do we have to Verify Our Documents from our respective boards then from Foreign office or just Attest them from notary public. ?

1. Do we need to create a bank account in Korea (or) they will send it to our account in a bank
1. Will be transferred. 2. You have to create a new korean bank account.
How feasible is it to combine a part time job with study (for a graduate student )

If I have a masters degree and I want to pursue another masters degree through the KGSP, will that be advantage or a disadvantage for me

Is the laundry payed or you should pay
You pay for using the washing machine in the dormitory.
@@dorkainkorea8592 oh thx is it cheap?
Depends on the city and school. In Gwangju it is 500/wash, but the machines are not the best so white shirts are not that white...
@@dorkainkorea8592 ah thanks for the info 😁
Your welcome😊
