Koreans like doing things fast. It’s well known its 빨리 빨리 (fast) culture. The scholarship process takes time but other things in Korea are generally fast.

All applications are the same. They are no different based on field of study. So just follow the general guidelines. Good luck.

As I applied through Embassy track I didn't have to, but if you wanna choose your advisor maybe it is better to reach out to someone who is connected to your field of research

Hi! Sure KGSP is for bachelor students as well. You can choose the university based on your major preferences, I believe you can find several Korean universities with pharmacy major. The GKS notice release date for Bachelor students is in September. For more information please check the following link: www.studyinkorea.go.kr/en/sub/gks/allnew_invite.do

For undergraduate studies the application period is usually beginning of October and for graduate studies it is beginning of February, but for further info check out the GKS Notice at studyinkorea.go.kr. There you will find when the scholarship is posted again along with many information.

I think it is allowed, but they don't finance it as far as I know... Maybe for more details you can write to NIIED and ask them. I don't know much details about it.

Hello! Well I did notarize and Apostille my transcripts, graduation certificates and passport. But apparently Apostille was not necessary. Notarisation is necessary though, or stamp by university...
@@dorkainkorea8592 Hi! Came back here to thank you for your advice. In the end, I found notary here in Korea to notarize my certificates. It was quite expensive since I have a number of certificates. I'm done with my papers and will submit it to my uni tomorrow. Boy am i nervous

I don't know if it is hard or not, I didn't try it yet. 😁 I will let you know after I am doing it. All I know that the scholarship committee nowadays prefers PhD applications. However it might be the case only in Hungary.

No, they will not pay the airfare. Only to Korea at the beginning and back home at the end...

When i checked the list of departments offered to kgsp students I didn't find scientific majors there's only ( commerce, economy, international industry....)
What should i do?
If there is nothing you feel like studying in the list then I guess you can't do anything. But maybe you can consider what is the field closest to what you wanna study and apply for that. 🤔🤔

Sorry for the late answer. I dont think this scholarship applies to medicine, but you can check further information at studyinkorea.go.kr

Well you can work during that time or self study whatever you feel like. It is filled with a lot of empty time so you can do whatever you want. :) I was working all along full time. It depends on your patience and commitment. :)

Hi, it should be under kgsp notice. There you can find previous notices about the scholarship application and if you open the announcement there you can download everything.
Hello! I want to ask My major in my undergraduate is under science and technology is it possible to study in my master media communication which is under social science? Or no because it’s a completely different fields? I am afraid they don’t accept that but i really wanna study media communication:(
Well yeah, it is complicated I think. You need to have some basics in the case of subjects and probably in this case you wouldn't have that. It is always worth a try though as I am not an expert in this. But this is how it is in most universities even I my country...

Hi Beni Beni. Sorry to inform you, but to my knowledge NIIED does not provide GKS scholarships for medical fields. I also heard somewhere that foreigners are actually not allowed to study medicine in South Korea. These fact are only to my knowledge, but feel free to google more, maybe they are not that accurate.

Which univ did you choose apart from Korea university?
I choose Seoul National and Sungkyungkwan.

Sorry for the late answer. You don't have to write about any of the chosen universities. Just write a studyplan with generalised information. You don't have to mention the chosen universities. Why? Because at that point you won't know which one will you be admitted to.

Yeah Korea is good is sciences and they usually prefer science students over art students nowadays. Good luck😁
Do I have to apostille my documents?
I did the Apostille just to be sure, even my transcripts, however I know people who didn't and still got the scholarship. You will definitely need your diplomas Apostilled when you move to Korea, but for the application it is not necessary as I geathered. But I did it anyways just to be sure. It depends on you, although the application says you have to submit official copies. Maybe notarized copies are enough. Hope I could help.
Your major is under social science? I want to apply in a major under social science although my BA major is under technology and eng... i am afraid they really do prefer technology engineering students.. so confused 😭
You have to study what you want. There is no point in choosing something just because it has a higher chance of receiving the scholarship. Really, choose what you really prefer. My major is business and marketing, but PhD... The key is how you can convice the comitee that you are a good investment. 😊

Funny thing, I don't have any language exam. I did all my studies in English so that was enough.

No, it is definitely not easy. Especially in big countries. You have to beat more thousands of applicants actually. So it is not easy.

I am not sure as I am not a Muslim, but seeing my class mates they manage. However they complain about the lack of food options... They mostly have to cook. Otherwise it shouldn't be a big problem I think.

I don't think you have to write about any university in your study plan. Just write about what you plan to study, why that, which exact field you want to explore, in what field will you need the professor's help. It is also good if you highlight why you have to study this specific field in Korea, why is it different from other countries. Also you write about your thesis plan, title, are of research, how you plan to conduct it...Just generally. You don't have to write or mention any university. Hope I could help.
