You know what’s crazy I always wondered why the steering columns were different lengths between the DX model and the SI models, this makes perfect sense, nice video man 👍
Always wanted to do that upgrade on my CRX! I just didn't know if it was worth the $300. Now that I've seen a good review on it I might buy in.Great job Justin👍🏾🤘🏾
Love your vids man keep them coming. your literally like 6 months ahead of me with the same plan. its been amazing to order parts and find you already installed and filmed them.
I understand the time situation sometimes, I had that qualified setup since February lol. As for seats I LOVE my sea BUT in the future I’m going to see if I can get them to sit lower to the floor. My only complaint with them
@@justingadell they look great, but ive heard they sit high. My girl has Corbeau's in her Jeep, super comfy. Lowering those would be cool to see what you come up with.

@@justingadell normally the bearing is changed with the pinion at Honda. apart from you, you managed to change the bearing alone. Do you have its reference….or its dimensions?
So if you have an ek ex you have power steering right? I believe the power steering rack is a quicker lock to lock than the manual. So what you should do is delete the power steering. There’s a few cheap ways to do it but I found the best way is adding a reservoir vent. They sell a kit on chasebays for like 100$ check it out

Great video! I've had one of those racks on my bream build list for the last 10 years!!
Thanks! Yeah so far I’m very pleased with the rack on just city street driving
Nice video! Btw, the seal for the pinion is a generic size so you can get one from basically any shop, that's what I did, works perfect

After driving the streets with it, this thing turns like an animal lol. It’s very responsive to everything

It’s definitely on my list to do, just might be a minute. Getting ready for the move
Nice work. Didnt know the rack n pinion could be upgraded. Interesting
Appreciate it! Yeah I’m really stoked to hit a track with it. Street driving is effortless, quite different
@@justingadell i might do this one day. Link to where you got the part from?

what is the pinion bearing reference?
What do you mean? What pinion bearing did I use part number wise?
@@justingadell normally the bearing is changed with the pinion at Honda. apart from you, you managed to change the bearing alone. Do you have its reference….or its dimensions?
This is manual steering rack?
It is, we only had manual racks in the US on CRX’s
Where can I purchase the quaife rack and Pinon?
I bought mine from Tegiwa
@@justingadell did you purchase it through their website and did they ship it to you overseas?
Can you run this with power steering?
Not to my knowledge no
Justin, where did you source this quails rack?
Tegiwa had them in stock at the time
So this wont work with an Si rack?
It will not.
@@justingadell thanks for the reply man. I never knew this was for DX racks only. Glad I watched your video before buying
Dx and HF. Both racks are the same. The si is the only one that's different.
Can u send the link where u got the rack
Tegiwa is where I got it at
Can this work on ek civic ex rack
I believe they make a kit for an ek rack
@@justingadell if you find it let me know. I have been looking. Also for a rhd

That looked like copper paste, i dont think thats a good idea. i would use regular lube or molybdenum sulfide type
