Radiohead and just thom Yorke in general dont just make music, they don’t just make great music or wonderful music either. I went down the rabbit hole. I watched several breakdowns and analysis of this song and eventually was lead here as some people claimed this was the best version. Personally I disagree. Pretty strongly. And I still like this version. I just think the more restrained version we hear on the album is more delicate and the build up hits harder because of the contrast. Also I think it suits the lyrics. Little better to have that dynamic. I like how the syncopation is more hidden in that version too. All the version are good, but I don’t agree this is the best. 🙃
Greatest ever live-performance of a song!! Incredible!!
