I have found the best way to release the roots from dirt is to put it in a tub of water and carefully massage them. It is much easier on the plant and the dirt releases much easier.

This was one of my first propagation attempts in my new backyard nursery. If you don't know what a backyard nursery is...it's your backyard...when you have delusions of running a nursery out of it :). It's a bit strange that I pet the Heuchera in this video...but I learned a lot about division. Let me know if you've had success growing and/or dividing Heuchera Coral Bells. Thanks for watching.
