Tried the Bosch Icons 3 years ago because of all the AMAZING reviews. All the great reviews were correct. They are still working fantastic after 3 years. Use them with Rainex washer fluid and you will be set for many years!
Whichever blade you choose, you can make it last for years if you protect it from UV damage. Just use a UV protectant spray such as 303 Aerospace or Lithium Inner Space and spray a little on a rag and wipe it on the the blade every month. I have done this for years with my vehicles. I am currently into year 3 of my Bosch Icon blades. If you wipe a blade and your rag gets black, then your blade needs more protection. The sun will dry out and crack wiper blades. The black residue is deteriorated rubber. If you do it frequently enough, there should be little to no black residue when you wipe it on the blade. At the price of some of these blades, you will save yourselves hundreds of dollars in the long run.
I’m now using the rain x silicone wipers. Been on my Subaru forester the first pair I purchased for two years straight. An old school trick I’ve been doing. First I clean the windshield off with windex the clear one. Then I clean the whole windshield with rubbing alcohol. Then I apply a coat of wax usually turtle wax spray on. Buff it out and clean off wiper with rubbing alcohol then put them on.. in the summer I clean the wipers off from all that tree sap bird poop and sometimes whatever flies off the road especially if it’s a freshly paved road. By the way just got my car inspected 11 days ago and on a rainy day. As I pulled into the DMV bay the tech checked my lights then said I know your wipers are good as you pulled in and I had them on. A few years ago I failed inspection when my wipers were bad and I was too lazy to buy new ones
On my Santa Fe SUV I use Michelin wiper blades from Costco ... a bit difficult to remove ... I use -45 C windshield solution . I clean the glass inside and out with Invisible Glass , micro fibre cloth and a scrubb sponge
I prefer bosh here in Southern Ontario Canada , but the price gotten pretty steep in the past few years at $31 bucks each for 22 inch blades at our big retail auto parts Canadian tire so went down and try reflex ice for a pair around $50 plus tax. And seem to work fine in the rain and snow. Just want to point out that your review there was no mention of how it performs with salt brine splashing up onto the windshield and streaking your wind shield ( it’s pretty bad on all wiper blades that I’ve tried in the past )and you didn’t mention the type of washer fluid to use.Not recommended plain water that is dumb and does nothing to the windshield to keep clean. Also you didn’t mention that you must scrub , clean and polish your glass to have the best results for water beading and visibility to see properly . The air has a lot pollution floating around and it will build up very quickly. Also to mention bugs and there guts don’t come off nicely with just wiping it with the wipers it actually makes it even worse results. Just saying

At the auto parts store I work at, we sell 3 out of 5 of these blade configurations. Good information to know. Thank you 👍

I love rain-x advantedge wipers, easiest wipers to put on I have encountered.
I use the Bosch Icons and love them. Pair them with Rain-x windshield washer fluid and you will be glad you did.

Bosch is thebeste.
Not on my wk2. They have been loud since install
@@SAGwordstry polishing your windshield, it might help with the squeaky wipes
Rain X Latitudes
If you have found wipe blade installation “tricky”, you should have your license revoked permanently.
Finding anything made by Rainx is almost impossible?? As the UK is fast becoming a third world Country!!😢
