- Rather bizarrely, the Jehovah's Witnesses leadership have failed to publish the August 2024 issue of their flagship magazine, the Watchtower. True to form, they have opted not to be upfront with their members and have secretly informed the elders that the September and October 2024 issues of the Watchtower will be published prior to the August issue (as per the S-147 announcements for June 2024). Arthur and I discuss why we do not expect this Watchtower issue to have any new doctrines and / or policies and what we expect to see in it.

They probably had to edit a lot of people out of the images, considering how many people are leaving this cult. Some people in that issue may now already be ex JWs. 😂

Do a video on the difficulties finding a mate within the Jehovah's Witness religion. The difficulties of finding a mate on the outside after one has left the cult and relationship problems which arise from having been in the Jehovah's Witness religion.
I was baptized at age 17. I stopped going at age 24. Add about that time prior to leaving I had made it known that I wanted a wife. I was very timid, and felt as if I wasn't good enough for a woman or it was somehow not allowed in my case. As I was not a pioneer and I did not have any intentions on going to bethel.
I was persuaded to go to bethel when I was younger but I did not want to go.
Very shy socially awkward. Social anxiety. I wanted a mate but didnt want to sin or get in trouble. I was also told to wait until after Armageddon to seek a wife. When i had made it known that i wanted a wife and help in finding someone who was likewise interested, i was rebuked.
I was a virgin, never even kissed.
Since leaving, it took a long time. First kiss at 32 years. Every relationship o have been in has been a disaster. I wished i could have met a young JW woman. Most likely it would have worked out good. But now i dont even believe in the bible. For example, I found out that the very first page of the Bible at Genesis chapter 1 disagrees with established scientific fact regarding the earth, the solar system and space. I'll go into detail about that if you are interested, but what I have found out makes the Bible look ridiculous and not the word of God. And I believe the leadership of the Jehovah's Witnesses already know this. I'm sure that they don't believe in the Bible, but the religion and Bible is a good money maker for them.

there's someone for everyone. don't let it get you. there are a lot of miserable married people out there. be careful and don't let emotion control you.
So then it's actually a GOOD thing u didn't find a JW woman cuz it absolutely would NOT have worked out. You still would've found out about the Bible probably and that would destroy any relationship with the JW woman. Be GLAD that didn't work out!! But also, as a rule, it's not a dating service. Elders aren't qualified to do anything really. I wouldn't want them trying to find me a partner!! That'd be a HORROR story!! And anyway, most churches don't "help" people find a wife or husband! Again - it's not a dating service! Why would you expect them to do that??? It's weird.
Finally, literally EVERYONE is a virgin at some point in life. So what? You sound like you need therapy to help you get out of your SHYNESS, break the religious brainwashing you received about your ideas about women, and maybe just join a dating service. Not a religion.

You know, if Moses was wrong, then Jesus is also wrong, for he believed in the words of Moses.
The first chapter of Genesis says that God separated the water with a void. Water above the void and water below the void.
To the water below the void, God gathered to his place is so that dry land would appear in its midst, Land and Sea.
God called the void heaven.
God created two great lights, one by day and one by night and also the stars, and He placed them IN THE VOID. He also created birds to fly across the void.
So when you go outdoors on a clear day and look up and see all that blue, keep in mind that Moses, and Jesus thought that was an ocean of water up there above the sun, moon, stars, angels and birds.

Pharaoh got a wife for Joseph.
Jethro gave his daughter to Moses.

David sent his men to ask Abigail to be his wife.
Etc.
Maybe it's allowing them to celebrate Christmas to go with the new Christmas Carol the just recorded....probably just too early to let them know in the summer...lol

You may celebrate Christmas except in the months Jan-Dec., do not give any gifts, and you replace the name Jesus with "Stephen" or "Gerrit" or seven other possible names.
There was strong anti-Christmas rhetoric in one of the convention talks this year so not sure they are about to allow Christmas 🤔🤔🤔

I think you guys are right. They are trying to fulfill what sanderclause said in the update would be in later watchtowers. But I think its intresting that this shows that they are panicking about how many people are leaving and being disfellowshiped and want those numbers to go back up. Also the fact that they already had the article ready and had to scrap it shows that the info in the update was more rushed and haphazard.
Yes, Mark Sanderclause😄😄😄 Seriously though, I find it interesting that the Governing Body has 6 committees including a Coordinator's Committee and yet the work between the various committees is so uncoordinated. So the Writing Committee is responsible for producing the Watchtower and yet they had no idea that Coordinator's Committee were going to announce those adjustments and need them in the Watchtower ASAP. Same thing happens with Convention and Midweek meeting material that is created by the Teaching Committee. It appears like Philip Brumley, the head of WHQ Legal is having a big say in matters nowadays. I'm surprised they haven't made him a Governing Body member or helper yet.

They still have hard copies of the magazines? I thought it would all be digital by now. I've been out since '17.
A very very very small number still use hard copies... They have failed to publish the digital version as well though hence the panic.
So what are the "Big changes" you think are going to happen? The thumbnail on the preview said something about big changes coming... but then it changed to something else on the actual video.

Why am I thinking of "Mad" magazine?
I loved Mad magazine, the Watch Tower, no so much.
My speculation is that someone depicted in the magazine got DF'd late in production and now they have to reshoot the photos.
That's a possibility but I think they would have just updated the digital publication and future reprints like they did with Tony Morris rather pull the whole production.
I have also realised that they have taken down some of their updates from their websites ,the one i noticed are the updates back in 2020 they gave on forcing us to take the vaccns

You are so right chaka, when you are a jw you don't really care what's happening within the organization and they keep you busy. I have a couple who are both pioneers, in February 2024 I mentioned to them that Anthony Morris is No longer a G.Body, they were shocked, they had no idea that Tony was removed as governing body.

I hate to quote Joe Biden but "C'mon, man!" I don't know if you are aware that each Watchtower article goes through 90 steps of verification before being approved for printing and publication. And this includes being proofread by each individual member of the Governing Body. Also, how is reporting on facts creating a conspiracy theory?

@@bobbiefritz2525 I'm glad you liked it and thank you for your kind words 🙏🙏🙏 Indeed, they can't do the 90-step process for multiple magazines a year because they fired all their best staff during the great cull of 2015. It was interesting to see David Ianelli (one of their main writers) on a recent Gilead Graduation programme. I find it interesting that even though Ianelli wrote a lot of their books and magazines in the 90s and early 2000s they never promoted him to the Governing Body or helper level. I actually thought they'd even fired him until I saw him on that Gilead thing.

Isa 9:6 the word Prince in the Prince of Peace means PATRON ANGEL also Leader. WHO IS the ONE LEADER that we have? Jesus. Now, that same exact Hebrew word was used for Daniel 12:1 which is used for Michael the Archangel. So are you saying there are MANY LEADERS now?
