I like everything about it, except having to walk through the bathroom to get to the bedrooms. Kind of limits access to and from the bedroom, if someone is occupying the bathroom.
I think they restricted themselves by adding that basketball court otherwise this can be probably be avoided. It is a novelty home so I suppose it works out for what it is

Yeah it only houses four people, so two couples or a family, So privacy wouldn't be that much of an issue 🤷🏼♀️
With one bathroom for each bedroom, I figure if you’re already sleeping with them, you can walk through the bath with them in there.
Like it but I don't like how small the bedrooms are and having to walk through the bathroom first. The basketball court is nice but feel that space could've been used to make the bedrooms bigger
I think the same, a big master bedroom with a private bathroom, and a smaller bedroom with a private bathroom, with a different distribution so you enter in the bedroom first. Sorry for my english 😊
Agree. Also, you’re playing basketball between two shipping containers and corrugated steel. I suspect it’s unbearably loud. From the outside, playing basketball in there probably sounds like a wrecking ball is destroying something.
My sentiments exactly. You would usually say the bedroom has a bathroom en suite - this is now a bathroom with a bedroom en suite 😜.
I also don't see any cupboards for clothes. The set of drawers won't hold much.
I suppose they could move all their beds into the basketball court if they felt claustrophobic 🤔.

Can i see the plans also? without the basket thing, i will use the 1s floor for an big room and an closet, and then will do an open space as an "varanda" to the room.

If this was my home,I’d totally get rid of the basketball court and convert the whole area as a master bedroom with bath tub and walk in closet with French Doors leading into backyard space. Build a fire pit area with lounge chairs. The small bedroom would be replaced and converted to office space with desk and whatnot or vanity make up room. That would make the space are more functional and practical. Other than that, a beautifully designed place!
The owners of this property and the other shipping containers air bnb just get it right! Literally no other container or barndo homes on the internet compare ( and I've seen alot)! Fabulous job!👍

Just remember this, one thing people never tell you when they build a shipping container home, you have to reinforce the ceilings and walls with steel beams. It becomes more expensive than they actually tell you.

If you made the core basketball area with wooden walls instead, this would be a great idea for a rehearsal hall/recording studio set up for bands.
7:15 I think that record player is a lovely touch! I love how they found one that went with the aesthetic and also added instructions in an aesthetically pleasing yet easy to find location.
An absolutely stunning location, and a superbly well appointed and unique home. Really loved this one.
The basketball court is a nice touch especially how it's divided so nobody has to go to the ER after an airball knocks them unconscious...that and the hot tub...i would be happy as a clam with those 2 amenities:) good find Kelly's

The layout is interesting. I just wonder how this would be without the basketball court. Personally, I would open that area up between the other sides. Possibly bigger bedrooms.
Same. I'd make the bedrooms bigger, so the 'court' wouldn't be so wide. And then, as I love books and music, the basketball court would become a central library/den space.

1: How long did it take to build it?
2: How much did it cost?
If anyone is looking to build one. It'll cost around $17k if you did the work yourself and up to $50k if you paid someone. An architect on youtube already did the math

Love U shapes homes like this. Growing up, our neighbors across the street had a U-shaped mid-century modern house and the U had a pool in it and there were windows lining the whole U so you could see the pool from anywhere in the house.
Concept for a home is great! I'd split that basket ball court into 2 extra spaces-small gym and home office. Either way that court space has many more possibilities

Beautiful and unique. If it were mine there are 2 things I'd change:
-bedroom access from basketball court so you're not locked out (or in) when someone's in the bathroom
-bunk beds in one of the rooms. I assume most people going there will be parents with kids, a bunk bed would fit better in the narrow bedroom for the kids and they don't have to share a bed

This is my most favorite tiny home ever. I have watched this video at least 10 times. I am probably going to have this built because I could run my business in the middle where the basketball court is located. Just love it!!!
That’s exactly what I thought too! I could use that center space as my office/studio and have clients come over and be completely away from the living areas.
Black painted steel - a nice way to keep the home cool in the summer! And a nice way to contain heat in the winter because black color is the right color to prevent heat from leaving a building, an especially a metal building!

And absolutely stunning home and to have it in the Hocking hills makes it even more stunning. Hocking hills has so much to offer with your waterfalls and your hiking trails and you're swimming and fishing areas absolutely beautiful all year round . We camped at Old Man's cave all the time as a child and lake hope absolutely beautiful areas check them out.

This is beautiful, I want the same except I would change the layout of the basket court so I have bigger bed rooms on both sides. Instead of a basket ball court I would have a gym instead. I love the colors and layout on the outside. The kitchen is perfect the living room I would have my favorite colors but it's overall beautiful wow.

My opinion...a perfect house! Just the right size! Basketball court right there is fun and great exercise! Could also move some gym equipment on the court! I would LOVE to live there full time! I could be productive, and comfortable in a place like this.

You know that’s honestly a really great use of space 🤔 I like how creative people use the space between container homes. I personally like a lounge area between the two but a basketball court is quite cool I got to admit. This is a gorgeous house by the way! The colors are stunning especially with the orange leaves of the trees beside it. That front entrance really frames the house well. Consider me sold haha 😂
