hello Dustine and Raymond can i request to you guy specially Raymond can you cook a bicol express like gabi ginataan (coconut milk Gabi with chili spicy)
we call it ginataang saging, in manila they call it ginataang halohalo. Ginataan came from the word gata which means coconut milk. Saging means banana, and halo halo means mix mix or mix ingredients
@@josephmartinez7507 hey! Is it similar to this? ruclips.net/video/KBUL1or6CSo/видео.html
@@maharlukomaharluka4811 oh cool thanks!
If you stir it continuously or frequently while cooking...the soup would be thicker and creamier.
Dustin deserves to have a million subs..he is so down to earth..his blogs are so legit...

Your learning to become a great cook by living off the land , you did a good job and it looked good . 😊💕
Very tasty!
What's interesting about your vlog is your interaction with locals which is a learning experience for you to understand the culture and their daily life. Keep it raw and enjoy!
This is more becoming Filipino.
Thanks I will! 🙏🙂
Yup, and it's beautiful to watch, entertaining, and at the same time reminiscing the past watching this. :)
Tapioca (sago) from Cassava flour
Landang - from the powder of a certain palm tree locally called Buli.
Pilit is a glutinous rice from a certain variety of rice.
What a great experience bro...
It was! Ah ok thanks 🙂
Thanks for the explanation Cocina.
Your content is very unique. Most travel vlogs in the Philippines only shows the touristy part, but with your channel you showcase the culture of a typical filipino life in the province. I feel bad you sleep outside their house but I’m sure there is a valid reason why you are not sleeping inside the house. Maybe they don’t have enough room but I still hope you can get a better place to sleep.
Can you livestream once a week. Theres an option there for your subscriber to donate using livestream.
It's ok I don't mind sleeping outside.. unfortunately they don't have enough room inside.. I don't think I will be able to do live stream here because it takes so much data and it cost a lot.. here is a better look at there house if you want to see

Yes my favourite binignit.. 😊 😊
Generally in bisaya, it is called binignit...
Since there is landang as ingedient, we call it landang. In Southern Leyte we also call it dinurog.
In tagalog, ginataang halo-halo.
Ah ok thanks!
macrohon southern leyte called it dinuldog hahaha
The first video i watched was lechon...

🙂🙏
We call that here Binignit.yum yum
You enjoy cooking Landang!!
God bless!!
It was fun!
Landang is the only binignit ingredients that we can’t find in a America. I used to help my grandma on making then when I was a kid. That’s actually made from a giant palm tree . The sago is made of cassava flour. You are becoming a pro on living a life in the province, I saw you dropped the camote on the groud and you wiped it on your pants😁, now you made your own binignit. Way to go Dustin.
It's hard to find these in America I guess same with star apple.. haha yes Raymund is a good teacher 😁
Wow ! I miss this . We made this during the holy week . And Dustin you learn a lot about barrio life already which I really miss . AND also Pilit is the glutenous rice.
It's perfect for this time 🙂
God bless you Dustin! Most genuine vlogs. Very down to earth 😊
🙂
My favorite Filipino dessert ❤️
It was delicious 🙂

They are good teachers!
I noticed Raymund is always worried of you getting hurt.He is a caring friend 😀👍
He's a good guy!
I can tell. He knows expensive to go Dr. Happy that you meet Godly people n Philippines. 🙏❤️🙏
Happy Good Friday.. I missed eating binignit😁😁
Happy good Friday 🙂
when shredding dat coco, start 1st at the sides, work ur way from the sides first then to the bottom part of the coco. coz its harder on the sides coz u can shred ur palm accidentally, u dont want that.
Ok thanks! Your right I don't want that 🙂🙏
Dustin bro, you are one of the best..
Hehe that is one strict cameraman, your learning a lot!😇
😅
Am enjoying watching ur video 'cuz I like foreigners like u trying hard doing/practicing filipino ways of life.
🙂🙏
I am smiling the whole time. You learned fast Dustin. We call that "ginataan" here. By the way, I didnt skip ads as my way of helping, too!😊 It's the least thing that I can do as I'm not affluent to send anything.
Thank you rianne it really means a lot!
@@DustinBackpacks You're welcome. Hey! I was able to watch your video when you were in Divisoria. You were also given free "ginataan" by aleng ofel.😊
Ginataan is very different. The equivalent of this in luzon is actually Bilo-bilo. In Bisaya, we call this Binignit. Slightly different from Bilo-bilo but the principle is the same
@@badjjohn2743 Oh, I see. Here in Bicol, we call it bilo- bilo if there's a rice flour included.
Enjoying your videos brother. Cheers from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
Hey thanks! I hope to make it there someday 🙏🙂
Dustin, so I take it you took my suggestion to have Raymond make 'benignit' for you? Missed eating it on holy week. sure is yummy! sago is a local version of tapioca. enjoy.
Yea I'm glad I tried it its so good!
The green sago is called tapioca pearls made of tapioca starch. No binignit in my province but we have the bilo-bilo or ginataan. Same ingredients except for the glutinous rice. We powderize the glutinous rice , add a little water to make a dough, then make balls as big as that of a marble size, and cook it together with the other ingredients.
Oh nice!
@@DustinBackpacks I just watched a video of you from last year I think where you went to buy a pair of sandals from Divisoria and a lady offered you ginataan, one of the cooked food that she was selling. She said it's called ginataan when you asked what it's called
Sago means Tapioca pearls. We call it "guinataang halo-halo" here in Manila. Looks yummy :)
It is 🙂
It looks like youre enjoying what you do.
I am 🙂🙏
It reminds my childhood. Your fast learner.
Thanks! I bet you had a great childhood
cooking benignit bro..im happy watching ur videos here in dammam KSA. i ddnt skip any advertisement just to support this channel bro and to this family keep it up bro.
Thank you
Next raymond boy. Bocayo botong ang brownsugar..
Next .lamaw. botong biscuit sky flakes biscuits milk alphine sugar..
Raymond another one.. lao oy gulay with mongo..bulad subak
ginataang kawayan w/ bulad nxt haha
Sago is like the pearls sometimes added in milk teas or boba milk teas. For me it's like jelly, but a little hard in texture when cooked. They only look different because of the food coloring. Yours is green and you might find sago in other flavors like orange, red, white, or black.
Ah ok 🙂
Omg! Binignit is my fave I’m salivating ... panghatag tawon! Give me some just a small bowl pretty please! Binignit pa more!!! 🐽😋❤️
Haha sure I'll save you one 😂
the best life in the province is where you can have everything cheap or free from the backyard
we call it Binignit in my hometown GenSan City
and my fb newsfeed now is full of binignit post they've cooked haha
..so glad watching you giving your best to cook binignit dustin, looks so yummy!
be careful with the sundang and peeling kamote
masarap, something I would definitely like to try in the future
It was tasty 🙂
Good job cooking Landang!
Thanks it was delicious!
One of the Best Pilipino Dessert,In Tagalog (Ginataan),The Sago some called Tapioca,
It was so good!
