Con mai ya es injugable, pero con kaiba no es como que no puedas jugar bw con el, la unica diferencia es que no tienes un slot extra en el extra deck, kaiba aún es viable para jugar con bw
Yo creo que en lugar de jugar harmattan deberías jugar un kalut mas, porque en sí el dragón no es la mejor condición de victoria; y como dices entiendo que quieras hacer algo diferente con respecto a raikiri y se que la blackbird close es muy buena, pero el poder destructivo de raikiri te pudo haber ayudado a ganar más facilmente un par de duelos. Dejo mi receta que en si no varía mucho de la tuya. I like them but the AI is slower and gets stuck more than DL AI.

No it requires only to have 3 blackwing synchro monsters
The only lock in this deck is simoon's effect that restricts you to dark monsters only
