Flying With Your Drums - What to do

Myself (Adam) and Hristo chat about transporting drum gear for gigs overseas. Is there an easier way than checking every item into the hold of the airplane separately? How can you even carry all of your drum breakables, let alone pop them onto an airplane!

I do flying tour , and the places we play have drums eating but I bring snare , kick peddles and cymbals and sticks and stool.. the rest is there already.. it sucks if the set is crappy but sometimes it’s a good one.. if we are playing close to Nashville then we use our gear .. hope this helps.. thanks for the European view point!!
