Why LTV, CAC is not important metric especially for D2C they matters a lot right? All the new D2C brands don't get customers just after they launch - they spend hefty on marketing and CAC is the very important metric in that case and even LTV do matters. Atleast justify why it doesn't matter for you guys?
Because you are unsure about how long will you exactly be in the market as trends keep changing... Many D2C strtups last for 2-3 years before collapsing due to lack of differentiation, they enter a cluttered market that may be small and try to compete with exisiting powerful players without introducing a new element to stand out from the others. Issues like unable to maintain quality, mismanagement of funds, ineffective logistics especially in reverse logistics consumer returning an item/product back to the business owner.
