Man, you must have fiddled a lot with the settings until you find these but it's been worth it! I've just tested them - they're excellent for me at present. Thank you! 🤝
Extra information. You may want to turn off Head position. The setting "Enable head position" turned to "off". It depends on the module, plane, helicopter that you are using. Thank you so much for the feedback, I am glad the video was helpful. Have a great day!
Getting Tobii exclusively for DCS is crazy (it's clunky as hell), in some other games it's the opposite - the best choice (like Star Citizen) I do not want to fight my hardware. So I adjusted it to be game-ie: - Pitch-down 35deg limit lets you always hit the sweet-spot for instruments (F-16 in my case). 2x sensitivity and 0.1х deadzone removes the jitter and snaps down when you put an intent to it - Yaw - natural 1.0x - Roll 0.6x - no eye--tracking, only the head - no head movement tracking - no head auto-center Experience with this is: responsive!, accurate for instruments, no jittering/jumping at all. Would be cool to have Eye-tracking up-and-down settings so that I don't need to switch it OFF completely

Hi, Thanks for your settings, I have just purchased a Tobii ET, and tbh it was a little bewildering at first, so I did apply some of your settings, and that was a good starting point. It has been updated since you posted this video, so a different layout, but the settings are the same. I was just wondering if you have this problem, when using an aircraft such as the A-10 II, when I look right the helmet mounted sight appears to not follow my head but lags a bit behind, I find myself "chasing" it with my eyes, it is never directly in front of me. This also mirrors onto the left side. Do you have this problem I wondered? Or is there a setting I am missing? Thanks for any info you may have on this.
very interesting - still don't really get how you can look back and still see the monitor. Unless the head movement is multiplied in the settings. I have a 34inchvcurved dell 20:9 coming
when you look around on the sides and the back is the camera panning based on "just" eye movement . so you head is still facing forward.??? trying to get my head around it. I have played with smooth track- head tracking. I think that is what is confusing me.
great video my man! Your settings works awesome! but some questions I'm having a hard time finding answers to (quite new to dcs) how do you control the cursor when clicking buttons while flying for example in a fight, you still use the mouse or does it work to use the cursor with the eyetracking in some way? and there is as far as i've figured out a buttoncomand to activate the cursor in the settings somewhere? cant seem to find it. and I would guess said command doesnt exist in the low fidelity planes hence why I'm not finding it
Left alt + c. You can then use the mouse. In the binding menu, you can press Left alt + c and it will jump to it. Also watch "Switch between headtracking and mouse look" ruclips.net/video/KKdG0gi9vC8/видео.html
I had some troubles with tobii 5, most on them were related to precision while using HMD, especially when locking targets with it (fox 2). Do you have this problem?
I am going to play with the F-16C Viper: and the Aim-9M/X With JHMCS HMD Helmet and JHMCS HMD Air To Ground Functionality & Weapons Employment today. Fox 2 for anyone reading is for example the AIM-9 Sidewinder. I'll make a video on the topic but basically just look at target, you get a tone, you push the uncage button and then fire. As for precision, it would be good if we could change the eye tracking responsiveness on-the-fly like we do with a mouse. There is no way to do that, so we kinda have to lock in a setting that works for everything. I'll try to demo it in future video!
I am having a little bit of trouble with 'wondering'.... like while looking at the consoles.... I have a 32 1440 same as you... and in the 16 same as you.... I also copied your settings 100%
Set up a button to pause the tracking. So you look at console, pause it, do what you need, unpause and your away. It is worth trying and considering that.
I’m having trouble with when I want to keep looking behind me. I’m slowly brought back to center in game with out moving my head or eyes. It’s not fast but it is very annoying cause it like wants me to twitch my head to keep it looking back
Does it bother your eyes I feel like even with it on for a few min it’s like penetrating my retinas it doesn’t hurt but after I stop using it it feels like the feeling when you look at the bright sun for a min then look away then all day bright lights make my eyes feel weird then I go back to Normal this only happens when I use tobi
Simply yes! The hardware of the Tobii Eye Tracker 5 allows you to do that. If you want to set it up to move your head closer to the monitor to zoom in you can do that, if that works for you.
I released 3 videos for DCS Digital Combat Simulator and 3 videos for Microsoft Flight Simulator all at once on 7.03.2023 I know some people are only interested in one game or the other. I get that! The Step 01 Around The World, I was happy with that video so keen on feedback for that video specifically too! I want to fly around the world as that was the aim of my channel when I started! Check azayomi videos list, a lot more to come! ruclips.net/video/k_BxHF_QkLY/видео.html
Hi all, I'm getting 'UNABLE T TRACK GAME WINDOW' flagged up in Tobi Gamehub. I'm running DCS world Open Beta and tobi eye tracking isnt working in sim? Any hints to get this working
open tobii gamehub. click into the dcs world settings. click the top button tobii enabled to off. click it again to tobii enabled to back on. now click into the game.

To slow the speed down as you turn towards that 180 degrees. As sometimes we don't actually intend to look 180 degrees you may want 150 degrees to look at a target or the wing.
