I know Matt Hill, who played Raphael in TMNT III. When I first met him, he told me his agent sent him to an audition, but they didn't know what the part was or for what movie. At the audition, he was handed a paper bag with eye holes cut into it and told to put it on his head, which he thought was strange. Then he got the part and they told him what he was doing. The bag on his head then made sense. They weren't interested in how he acted with his face, but how well he acted with his body.
I remember watching the the cartoon as a kid and when the movie came out it was great. It could have been so much worse they did a great job without CGI. It was very convincing when you watched it.
Love the soundtrack in the background! Really interesting listen and I'm glad the film was darker... the sequels were just horrible and ill always remember how great the first was
Its so hard watching the trailer for turtles 1 & 2 because frankly they're not good. But Turtles 1 is dare I say a master piece and 2 has flaws but is overall a fun watch. Heck I can enjoy 3 even though its the worst of the trilogy.
This guy is wonderful and humble. He deserves every success!!!

I think over time they started to disintegrate. They are maintained for as long as possible, but eventually they fall apart unfortunately.
